After a pretty chilled day, Sophia and Sweet Pea were getting ready for the evening. Sophia changed into one of Sweet Pea's button-down white shirts, which due to their height difference was more like a dress. She put a black belt around her waist, doing her makeup and hair similar to the night before, adding black stockings and her heels.

"Are you seriously going to parade around the speakeasy looking like that all night in my shirt?" Sweet Pea asked.

"Yeah, pretty much." Sophia smirked.

"Fucking hell." Sweet Pea shook his head and chuckled. "Come on then, let's go."

Sophia had to be there at six to help set everything up. Of course, Sweet Pea was able to go and chill while they waited to open up. As they went in, the other guy who worked there was already behind the bar.

"Hi, Sophia, right? I don't think we've ever officially met. I'm Gunner." He held a hand out.

"Hi. Fellow Serpent, I see." Sophia smiled, shaking his hand.

"Yeah. So I'm sure we'll get along just fine," he replied with a smile of his own. "You look great by the way."

"Let go of her hand, now." Sweet Pea practically growled. "You'll do well to remember who she goes home with at the end of the night."

"Chill, Pea. Just a compliment." Gunner put his hands up in surrender. "Everyone knows she's your girl."

Sophia walked over to where Sweet Pea had sat down, leaning in and kissing him.

"You're the only Serpent for me, Sweets," she said with a wink, going behind the bar and setting up.

Josie, Kevin and Veronica arrived at seven, Veronica to make sure everything was set up and Josie and Kevin to get ready for the evening of singing and comparing. Soon, the speakeasy opened and lots of customers were soon filling the seats and ordering drinks. The rest of the gang turned up too, all of them saying hi to Sophia at the bar before joining Sweet Pea and Veronica at their usual tables. Reggie and Chuck walked in with their dates, going up to the bar.

"Soph, four grenades, please." Chuck said, placing the money on the bar.

"Coming right up." Sophia began making the drinks. "You look lovely, ladies. And you chose some good boys."

One of them giggled. "They are great, aren't they?"

"Oh, you have no idea." Sophia winked. She finished making the drinks and took the money, giving Chuck back the change.

"Thanks." Reggie said.

"Have fun." Sophia called after them.

After a while, Josie was on stage singing, so Tom went to the bar with Sweet Pea, so he could have a drink ready for her when she was done. They sat at the bar waiting to be served.

"How's it going with Josie?" Sweet Pea asked.

"It's alright. She's very focused on her music so she's unsure about pursuing a relationship, but I'm working on it." Tom shrugged.

A girl stood against the bar on the other side of Sweet Pea.

"Been waiting long?" She asked.

"Not really. It's busy tonight, though," he shrugged.

"The singer's good. Do you know her?" She asked.

"Yeah, we do." Tom said.

"That's cool," she said. "So, what drinks are good here?"

"There's a new one called the grenade which is good." Sweet Pea said.

"Oh, really?" She asked. "Maybe you should buy me one."
