I don't know what I did wrong
Where,
in the grand scheme of things,
did I fuck up so badly?
Cuz all these good friends aren't so great after all
And all these cool people are freezing in the shade they throw to others
I guess that includes me now
But I had a peer
To sit with me on the other side
Toes touching the cold and night hair illuminated by the sunlight
Yet even now she's decided to get up and leave me
When my heart's trying its best to warm,
it still gives everyone else frostbite
And drives them away with the needle's swarm
So while these old friends giggle in the warm fields,
They still sulk back to the icy side With a hiss and a glare
Hiding there
They just keep their stare
Hitting rock bottom
Has been keeping me down
Especially when the helping hand
Gives me a shove back to the cold, hard ground
