Family

That beautiful couple with stunning children? Don't they seem so perfect? They fight so much that the third, unknown, child had killed themselves from the stress and pain. Now, they fight more with broken hearts to use as ammo.

That single mom with everything together? Doesn't she look so happy and independent? Her boyfriend left her when she became pregnant and she blames the child every single day she doesn't get a text from him.

That happy drunk down the road? He's useless in the neighbors' eyes and should stay inside locked up. But, he works three day jobs and has a big-dreaming daughter in college he works those jobs for. Because America is so screwed up that he's devoting his life to give his daughter a better one and needs a cheap way to cope. Convenience store beer it is.

My family? Nothing as broken in comparison, but it still hurts a hell of a lot everyday when that crack expands.
