So we all know Dwayne lost a little brother.

His parents abused his little brother to the point where he died.

He blames himself, since he ignored the yelling.

He has nightmares about losing him.

He was also abused by his mother and father, but was almost forgotten when his brother came into the picture.

He had so many nightmares before David brought Laddie into the picture.

He won't kill kids, but he'll send them to homes and such.

Before he tried to kill Sam, he was reminded of his little brother.

The last thought he had before he died was that it was his fault.

David

He used to be beat by his father, making his relationship with Max hard.

He had siblings and they would beat him too.

So it was hard for him to open up his heart to the ones he turned.

Star and Michael both reminded him of people he use to love that had left him.

So when he found out that they were plotting against him, it made him weaker than he had ever felt.

Especially when his brothers were being killed around him.

When he was pretending to be dead and he heard Michael and Star celebrate, he wished he was truly dead.

After he escaped, he tried his best to die. But was stopped by another gang of vampires.

Paul

His aunt kicked him out of her home when she found out he was gay.

She took his clothes and money, making him leave the house naked.

He was freezing, covered in dirt and bruises, catching Marko's concern.

He felt the pain sharp in his heart when his best friend and lover was killed and left for dead in front of him.

He wanted to kill the boy who killed Marko, but when he was wounded by a dog he gave up.

He thought that if he wasn't strong enough to avenge Marko, then he should just die.

Marko

He came from a Jewish family.

He stayed with them for 4 years, and then was placed in a home.

No one ever kept him, finding all the problems in him.

So he went searching for a new family one day.

He found them, and they accepted him.

He had brothers and a lover.

He had planned to ask Paul officially to be his boyfriend when he was awoken with a pain of death.
