Stranger Things X The Lost Boys crossover

She stepped out of the airport, the humid air curling her hair. The structure was nothing like a normal airport; no parking area, only a small pick up/drop off lane. No fast food restaurants, only a frozen yogurt stand. Several horns blared and citizens rushed to their cars. She walked toward a polished 1979 Camaro Z/28, her cousin's fanciest vehicle. A boyish redhead sat in the front passenger seat, typing away on her computer with her Motorola TAC 8000X sitting in the cup holder. "Rock You Like A Hurricane" by Scorpions blasted through the speakers. Others sent her dirty looks as she buckled her seatbelt before Billy could drive away.

"How was your flight?" Billy questioned, not wanting to come off as an asshole at first toward her.

"Bumpy." Star replies, not sure how else to word it.

Billy stuck a white cigarette outside as he swerved in and out through traffic. Maxine gripped her skateboard, knuckles turning sheet white. His driving must've terrified her, but Star was used to it; Billy and David would certainly get along in the speed area of their expertise.

"This is Maxine. I'm sure you remember her from five years ago."

Star did vaguely remember the redhead, except she was a lot older than now. She tapped Maxine's shoulder and told her a little secret she'd been keeping from Billy for five years.

"You'd actually get along quite well with my....brother, David. He's into going past the speed limit and being very reckless with his motorcycle."

It meant to come out as a kind suggestion, but Billy has a exasperated expression on his face.

"And what's that supposed to mean?" He growled.

"Woah, Billy. She was just telling you about her brother." Maxine defended Star.

"You brought your bathing suit, right?" Billy asks. Star nods. "Good. I've got duty." Star gave him a quizzical glance in the mirror. "Don't be so stupid, Star. I'm a lifeguard. I work. End of story."

Star found it odd when the sun barely charred her skin. Did her mysterious new ring have anything to do it?
She examined the glass jewelry and tightened the leather buckle so it wouldn't slip off.

Maxine approached her in a red and blue bikini combination while Star revealed her features in a rainbow two-piece that still had sort of 80s feeling to it.

"Looks nice." Maxine comments.

"Thanks. So do you." She replied, following the sixteen-year-old out into the broad daylight.

"All the cool kids hangout in the deep end." Max comments, dragging her down the steps before flipping backwards into the chlorine-filled body of water. It burned slightly and turned her skin red, but nonetheless followed the redhead to the twelve foot area, swimming in a doggy paddle.

I think we can all say that Star had a blast with cousins.
