Sofia the First: Father

Prologue

It was a warm sunny morning in Enchancia, and Prince Ethan was sound asleep in his little sister's bed. Untill he was suddenly awoken by the sound of the bedroom doors swinging wide open "Good morning big brother!" Smiled Sofia as she, James and Amber raced over to him. The older Prince Groaned tiredly "Huh?" He slowly opened his eyes and saw the trio smiling at him "What... time is it?" He Groaned, "Nearly 12!" James Replied "Mom and dad could tell you were really tired after... what happend last night, so dad asked us to come and help you wake up, you're REALLY late for breakfast". Ethan Groaned "Oh that... bloke, tell him five more minutes" and he turned to the other side and closed his eyes. James and the girls smirked at one another and they went around to the other side "Wake up!" they all chanted as they climbed onto the bed and bounced around on it, "Oh sweet mother of... fine i'm up!" Ethan Chuckled as he slowly lifted himself upright "Kids these days...". His younger siblings just laughed "You can't sleep forever" giggled Sofia "Anyway, breakfast is on the table. We're having pancakes, come on", "Look" Said Ethan "Teens usualy need more sleep than children, simply because they tend to work their brains harder. Now let's go and start my first day as Prince!" he then got dressed and followed his younger siblings to the dinning room.

"There he is! our Hero Prince!" Smiled King Roland, "I think you'll find it's ULTIMATE Prince" Ethan Smirked in return, the King just Chuckled. "Good morning my big Prince boy" Queen Miranda Smiled as she left her seat to hug her eldest son "Did you sleep okay?" She Asked with concern, "After all that happened last night? it's a pure miracle we ALL did" Ethan Replied "But i managed in the end, thanks to the reasuring comfort of a little someone" He winked at Sofia, Sofia herself could only smile in return. Ethan looked around him "Where is everyone else?" He Asked "Axel, Hugo, Zandar", "Oh they all left earlier this morning" His mother Replied, "Ah, right" Ethan Said in return. Over breakfast, Ethan bearly said a word "Is everything alright, Ethan?" Asked the King "You seem quiet", "Yes" came the reply. "Are you sure?" Asked Sofia, "YES" came a second, irritated reply. "Ethan, what's wrong?" Miranda Asked sternly, Ethan let out a long irritated sigh "Just... bad memories". Everyone looked at him "Bad memories?" Asked Amber, "He's talking about last night Amber" Replied Sofia. She then turned back to Ethan "It's ok" She Said softly "It's all over now, you're safe, WE'RE safe", "I can clearly see that" Ethan sadly Replied "But... i cannot explain what is REALLY bothering me, therefore i will only tell you and mother" He Said to Roland. "Understandable" Replied the King.

After everyone finished their breakfast, Amber and James went off to do their own thing whereas Sofia stayed behind with Ethan and their parents "You could join me on a walk through the countryside if you like" Sofia Smiled sweetly. "I'd love to" Ethan Replied "But i have to explain my problems in private with our parents, perhaps another time", "That's ok, i understand" Sofia Replied. "Be back before dark, Sofia!" her mother Called, "Ok mom!" Sofia Called back as she headed towards the main doors. As she passed by her room, she heard a familier voice "Morning, Princess!" Smiled Clover, "Good morning, Clover" Sofia Smiled in return. "And where are you off to this fine, peaceful and perfectly NORMAL morning?" Clover Asked, "Well, after last night's scarring events, i thought i'd clear my head a little by going for a nice long walk in the countryside", "Ah, i get'cha" Clover Smiled "Mind if i tag along? i've not exactly been outta the castle in a while and i'm curious to see what else is out there... aside from the BORING everyday Dunwiddie and Summerset", "Sure" Sofia giggled "I've heard there's a very nice vally overlook not that far from hear, so i was thinking we could visit it along the way back". "Sounds like a plan" Clover Smiled "Oh, but there is a basket i could ride in, right?", "Oh, right" Sofia Smiled sheepily "I'll be right back" and she took of to find a basket for Clover to sit in. "Ok Clover, i found one" She Smiled as she rounded a corner, "Then let's hop to it!" Clover Smiled in return, and so he and Sofia set out on a nice long walk in the countryside to set thier minds at ease.
