Chapter 16: Mother Nature?

The King was listening from the other side of the bedroom door, he had heard everything and was heartbroken upon hearing such a tragic story. he slowly opened the door and peaked in "Sofia?" He Asked softly "Is everything alright?", his wife immidietely turned to give him a most fierce look, Roland slowly walke dover and sat down on the opposite side of Sofia's bed "I'm... so sorry" He Frowned, "You should be" Miranda angrily Replied "I simply can't believe you let that... monster lock up and thrash our son around like that!", "I... don't know what came over me" Roland Frowned lowering his head in shame "I know he's a serious man... but i never thought he would physically put his hands on Ethan", "You're the reason he's gone!" Sofia Cried, "I know... i'm sorry" Roland Replied in shame. "He's a monster Rollie... he's far too aggresive" Miranda Frowned "Please stop him", the King lowered his head once more and began to think about what his wife had just said, there was a long silence. "You're right" He Said, "What was that?" Miranda Asked him,  the King's head sprang upwards "You're right!" He repeated "I can't believe it myself! that i actually trusted that man! I see through his eyes now, he's completely made of glass! i promise the moment he unfreezes, he'll be fired immideitely", "He better be" Miranda firmly Replied "Or i'll do it myself". "I just can't believe he would thrash OUR son like that! and I did nothing to do about it!" Roland Snarled "I'm gonna give him such a talking to!". Sofia simply couldn't stay quiet anymore "Dad no!" She Frowned "No more violence!" Sofia herself as well as James and Amber knew what violence could lead to, and she was thankful that she never had to use such an approach during her protector missions, with her being a child and all, "Shhh... it's ok Sofia" Roland soothed her "I mean that i'm going to have a serious talk with him, i might get firm and serious at times, but i'm NEVER violent unless absolutely nessesary". Sofia Sighed in relief, "I promise i won't let the Captain lay a finger on your brother from now on" Roland finished, "I certainly hope so" Miranda Sighed "Wherever he is, i hope he's ok" she looked out the window at the rain, "I'm sure he's not in any danger" her husband assured her "Hopefully the guards will have found him by now" he also looked out at the rain "Even though they're all sure to be cold and wet in the process... but it's all worth it for the safety of a member of the Royal Family" he then pulled Miranda and Sofia into an embrace before walking out.

Meanwhile

Ethan was still searching for the same dark wooded area that Sofia had told him and the family, he was tired, annoyed and soaking wet. He took shelter under a large oak tree "Fuck me..." He Sighed in annoyance "I swear to Disney if i end up coming back empty handed... i'm fucked". After a few minutes of relaxing and listening to the sound of the rain, the rain itself began to stop "Better keep moving" Ethan Thought to himself. He got up and continued making his way East, after another 10 minutes of walking, he finally came across an extremely dark wooded area.

"What the hell?" Ethan Said to himself "This place is darker than the night sky itself... this must be the place Sofia was talking about". He began to slowly traverse his way through the towering trees, after a while he began to notice that the trees were getting bigger the deeper he crept. Suddenly he saw something green that stood out from everything else surrounding him, "The fuck?" He Gasped quietly, he slowly followed behind the green object as it floated through the tree branches. Ethan watched as the strange creature lowered itself to ground level and and out of nowhere, grew a large yellow flower. He now had a clear view of the creature's face

"Wow..." He Gasped "She's... beautiful, but what's a peaceful creature like her doing here?" but the strange female creature heard him and turned around, it spotted him crouching behind a large tree trunk and it hid behind another. "I-I'm sorry madam wait!" Ethan Called "Don't run away! i mean no harm!", the green creature slowly peaked her head out and looked back at Ethan "It's alright..." Ethan Called in a soft voice as he raised his hands "I'm unarmed, i'm nothing to be afraid of". The creature finally built up the courage to come out of hiding, it slowly walked towards Ethan whereas Ethan did the same. When they finally reached each other, the creature began to feel more at ease and completely revieled her face.

"My god..." Ethan Gasped "Mother Nature? is that... you?", the creature let out a silent giggle, Ethan could only let out a small chuckle in responce "I suppose not... Anyway, I think you may already know this, as i'm now known across pretty much the whole Ever Realm... but I'm him, the Ultimate Prince". The creature beamed as bright as the non-existing sun and hugged Ethan tightly "Woah easy there!" Ethan Chuckled "That's right, i'm the chosen one, i'm the one who saved this world from destruction, may i ask why you here in such a dark, cruel place?". The creature couldn't speak so she turned away slightly and whilst remaining silent, "You don't know?" Ethan Asked, the female creature shook her head in return "Hold on..." Ethan Said "You don't speak? is that it?", the creature nodded in response, "Ah... very well" Ethan Decleared "Well, i still have to ask a simple question, have you seen a strange dark figure in the area?" the creature let out a silent gasp and nodded her head, she then looked around herself frantically and even hid behind the Ultimate Prince. "It's alright! it's alright..." Ethan assured her "Nothing's going to hurt you, i'm here to track down this monster and take him down", the female creature let out a silent sign of relief and floated in front of him, she performed some form of sign language, indicating she wanted to him to follow. "Alright?" Ethan awkwardly responded "I'll follow your lead", and so Ethan followed the humanoid creature as it gently floated ahead. He hoped that when he subdues the crazed man in the forest, the creature could hopefully fix up the place and bright back the light, but little did he know... his little sister was failing at her side of the plan.
