Chapter 27

Jihoo's P.O.V.

I was in the tent with Ella lying in bed.
Her palm was taken care of and she's on oxygen as she got hypoxic from the smoke earlier. Her condition is better now but she's still unconscious.
Looks like she had a panic attack. I want to take her to home. She can take better rest there. But we need to wait till she gains consciousness.

The fire at the store room was also taken care of. The fire brigades came immediately and took everything under control. Almost two-thirds of the medicines were burnt. Only few in the back alleys were spared. But we'll have to see whether those are still useable or not.
Thank God the cylinders didn't catch the fire. They were supposed to be in the front alley but for some reasons they were in the back alley.

After a while I saw Ella opening her eyes weakly. She looked at me confusingly.
I held her hand.
"Ella?..... How are you feeling ?" I asked curiously.

She blinked weakly. "Where... am.... I? She asked.

"You're at the emergency tent. Are you feeling better?"

"Ye..ah." She nodded. She took off the oxygen mask and tried to sit.

"You should rest more. We're about to give you sedatives." I said as I forbade her from sitting but she shook her head no and sat up.
She looked at her bandage on her hand.

"I'm.. fine."

"I'm sure you are. But take some more rest." I said

"I want... to go... home." She whispered.

"We will but...." I was cut off by her.

"Please......." She said closing her eyes. "Please...I'm scared..." She looked at me. I see her eyes glistening with tears.
This made my heart sore. I can see how much injured she's inside. For the very first time I've seen this much grief on her lovely face that always shines with smile!

"Alright." I nodded.

"Oh, Dr. Lee, you're awake!" Nangil asked as he entered the tent with Dr. Park.

"How are you feeling now?" Dr. Park asked.
"Better..." Ella nodded.

"We were so scared about you. I'm glad that you are alright!" Nangil smiled.

Ella smiled back weakly. I can feel her fear which she's trying so hard to hide from them. We should leave fast. I thought to myself.

"Let me give you sedatives." Dr. Park said as he picked up the ampule.

"We're leaving for home. I'll give it to her there." I said.

Dr.park looked at Ella then to me.
"Okay, sir."
He looked at Ella.
"You yourself are a doctor. So you already know things. But as my patient I must advice you.... Eat healthy and spare time for your hand to heal.. Okay?" Dr. Park asked smiling.

Ella nodded smiling.

"Nangil, I'm leaving. Make sure they start the investigation tomorrow at the very first hour. I want every details! And send me the cctv footage as soon as you get it." I said.

"Yes, sir." He nodded.

Third P.O.V.

Minseo, Haeun an Jinae were in their room.
Haeun was so pis.sed off about what happened earlier. Ella could've died because of what Minseo did. But she was too angry even to talk to her.
Jinae was in shock because of the incidence. She didn't say anything since she came to their room but kept silent. She was so upset about the matter. But thank god that Ella was almost alright.

Jinae: "We're to be blamed for what happened earlier."
She whispered.

Minseo : "What nonsense are you talking about! Why should we are to be blamed! Are you out of your mind?"
She shouted.

Haeun: "You are right Minseo. It's not us to be blamed for. It's you who did all this! From the very beginning you've been doing such type of things. But this time you crossed all the limits. It was too extreme to leave someone to die!"
She growled.

Minseo:  "What the fk are you talking about! I'm not a murderer!"
She furrowed.

Haeun: "Yeah, right! I always thought that you are doing out of love but you know what you can never love anyone! People like you doesn't know how to love! All you know is how to make things yours! By hook or by crook! That is it! Whether it's a thing or a person."
She said angrily

Minseo: "I see! Now my own dogs are barking at me! Looks like you've so many things to say!"
She crossed her arms.

Jinae: "What did you just say? Your dog? I thought we are friends!"
She said shockingly.

Minseo: "Friends! ...Huh! Don't you think that's too much to dream of for you bimbo.os! And most importantly, I didn't plan for that bit.h Ella to die. Though it wouldn't had matter much for me even if she died but I didn't want to kill her. Nor did I know that smoke detectors to be broken.!"
She arched her brows.

Jinae: "How can you just say that you don't mind a person dying! You.."
She was cut off by Minseo.

Minseo: "Oh, please! I'm not in the mood for your lecture! I don't mind even you people dying let alone that Ella!  And again just shut that filthy mouth of yours! Don't act to be goody  two shoes! Don't forget you were with me when I did all those things to her. So you're as much guilty as me! Now shut up of you don't want others to find out! "
She furrowed.

Jinae: "You think they won't find out? They'll get to know when....."
She was cut off as Haeun placed a hand over her shoulder and shook her head no.

Minseo: "Looks like she understood what I meant. Be careful!... I'll go to my hotel room.  I don't want to act anymore with you. Found out that you were worthless!"

Minseo left the room. Jinae turned to Haeun.

Haeun: "She won't focus on the minor things when she is angry. So just don't mention about the evidences to her. They'll obviously get to know when they see the cctv footages. But if this things come across her mind she'll try to get rid of this. So keep quiet. Okay?"
She asked.

Jinae: "Okay. She nodded. But Haeun. I feel bad. She was right. We're as much guilty as her. What should I do!?"
She asked curiously.

Haeun: "Not I, we. Tomorrow we'll meet Jihoo oppa and tell him everything. I too feel guilty. I want to confess so that...... so that I can lessen the burden........"
