Chapter 31

Jihoo's P.O.V.

I woke up to see it's already morning. I looked at the clock to see it's 6am. I thought of having a bad headache when I wake up as I couldn't sleep well last night. But I don't it's strange. I turned to see Ella sleeping closer to me and my hands still wrapping her. Was it because of her? I smiled.

Her hairs are all over her face covering it. I was about to remove those from her face when Suddenly my phone rang up. Who is it at this hour! The sound may wake her up so I received it hurriedly.

"Hello?"

"Hey, broooo! How are you doing?" I heard Woobin greeting from other side.

"I'm fine. How are you? And since when have you become an early riser?"

"Noooo! Not really! I didn't sleep the whole night. We were at a party. We missed you a lot. I just came back and called you." He laughed .

"I see. But didn't you think that I must be sleeping?. Are you drunk?"

"Yupp! I'm way to drunk and I thought of it but then thought that it'll be fun to tease you... " he laughed.

"Fine!.. now have some rest. We'll talk later when you'll be sober."

"Nope! I'll not hang up the phone till I see you!... Hold on, I'll make a video call."

"No! Hold on...." I tried to forbade him but he already requested for video sharing. I wouldn't have received it but he's drunk. So he won't stop till I receive it.

"Heyyyyyy brooo! I miss youu!" He said in baby voice protruding his lips making a puppy face. I can tell he's actually too much drunk.

"Why did you drink this much? You shouldn't have. Was Yijeong with you?" I asked.

"He was..." he yawned closing his eyes.
Looks like he's gonna pass out anytime soon.

"You should go to sleep."

"I will.... But I miss you...." he said in a baby voice. He opened his eyes. "You know what......... HEY! Hold on! Who's that!" He pointed.
Just then I remembered that Ella's still sleeping in my arms. My eyes widen with shock.
I turned to Ella and then to him. I'm dumbfounded by this.

"Is that a girl? What's she....."
I hanged up the phone hurriedly. But he again video called. He'll act so stubborn right now I know that! I cut the video call and called him.

"Hey! Why are you hiding it from me!. No wonder you were piss.d off as I called. Is she the same girl?." he chuckled.

" I'm not hiding anything. We'll talk later Woobin." I said in a calm voice.

"Whayyyy! Achcha tell me one thing before we hang up... Have you fk her ?" He said in a teasing voice.

Though he's not in a situation to talk sober and he always talk like this but I really can't take the way he talks about Ella.

"We'll talk later Woobin." I groaned.

It's silent on the other side.

"Hello?" I said but no response. Guess he already passed out. I hanged up the phone. I can already imagine what I'm to face when I return to Seoul.

I looked at Ella. I remembered how she hugged me last night. I smiled and placed a kiss over her head. I carefully removed her from my embrace. I covered her with the blanket.

Just when I was about to leave the room her phone rang. As I didn't wanted her to wake up I unknowingly received the call. Oh no, I shouldn't have done that.... I should let the person know that Ella is sleeping.

I was about to say hello when

"Ella! Are you alright? It was that bit.h. Didn't I tell you that she's plotting against you! First that water incidence then the gooms and now this fire! Why don't you listen to me! Didn't I warned you to stay safe!.. Hello? Ella? Are you listening?" A female voice said from the other side of the phone.

My eyes widen. I don't know what to reply. I didn't say anything but hanged up the phone.
I'm in shock right now. Who is this lady over the phone and whom she was talking about!.... Should have I asked her whom she was talking about?... Did Ella already knew it? .... so many questions running on my mind! It's too confusing ! But the most important thing is that my instinct was right that it's the same person doing all these...... Now I need to find out who the culprit is.

I looked at Ella then left the room. I took my phone and called Nangil.

"He..ll..o?" He said in sleepy voice.

"Nangil. Did you talked about the investigation?"

"Oh sir! Good morning. I was actually waiting to inform you about this. They were supposed to do it in the morning but they said they'll do it then. They've worked all night. It's strange though. But it's already over. And they've been paid. They've sent me documents and the cctv footage." He said.

"Did you watch the footage?" I asked curiously.

"No sir... I was sleepy so...."

"It's fine. Just send me those. "

"Okay, sir. I'm sending it right now. It might take a bit of time. "

"Yeah. And remember. Don't tell anyone about this till I say."

"Okay, sir."

I hanged up the phone. Things are way more messy this time. But I need to figure out what's going on.
I looked for the pictures to find out the person wearing see blue dresses.
Almost six of the girls were wearing that coloured dresses , Minseo and her friends and Hanha and two new girls. It must be one of them. I'm gonna find out as soon as I get the cctv footage. I'm not gonna forgive the person who dared to do all these to Ella.....

Lisa's P.O.V.

Ella cut the phone without saying anything? Why did she cut off the phone? Strange! Though she cut off phone when she's angry but think her to be scared and hoped she would call. But she didn't. I waited the whole nighy for her call. It's not like her.

"Ma'am, we've send the documents and cctv footage to the person named Nangil." Tina said.

"Hm. Good."

"They've paid the boys for the work. They couldn't refuse it as it would look suspicious."

"Hmm." I nodded. "It's their wish what to do with the money."

"Ma'am, did you talked to Ella ma'am?" Miya asked.

"No. I called her but....... anyway. I'll call her later. Now take the boys and go over Dr. Yoon's place. Stay near their house. It's their holiday so they'll be at home. And Miya, keep your eyes on Minseo and her friends. Make sure not to get noticed any of you. Okay?"

"Yes, Ma'am"
