Chapter 45

Jihoo's P.O.V.

It has been really hectic since we came back. Ella was busy making up for her holidays so I could barely contact her. It's too late though but should I check if she's there? I thought to myself as I headed towards her room. I turned to chaos to see there's an emergency. A lady met a car accident. I followed to the ER.

"This lady is pregnant. We need someone from the gynae department."

"We've already asked for help."

Soon after Ella entered the room.

"We need to do a c- section. Get everything ready." Ella said.
As she did the delivery the neonate was immediately transferred to NICU. Here comes my work. I left for NICU immediately. Luckily the baby wasn't injured. Even though we kept him in observation to exclude risks.

I looked at the clock. It's 2am. I wonder what happened at the emergency.

"Min ho." I called him.

"Yes sir?"

"What about the mother?"

"She is out of danger now. "

"I see."

I'm glad to hear that. If that's the case. Ella must've left by now.

"I'll be leaving. Take care of the baby. Let me know if there's any problem."

"Yes, sir."

Where's my key? I might've left it in my room. I walked to my room. I saw Ella sitting on the bench in the corridor. I don't know whether it's okay to say sitting cause she's nodded off. I smiled. She has been working so hard since we came back from the tour. She started to topple over when I pitched forward and cushioned her head. But it didn't help much. She woke up.

"Owh! Oppa!" She exclaimed.

I smiled. "What are you doing here?"

"I was waiting for you."

I stared curiously.

"I wanted to know about the baby. How's he doing?"

"He's doing fine. You've been waiting here for this long?"

"Yeah. I was worried." She noticed the clock. "It's too late. I didn't notice. I should leave. Good night." She smiled and headed towards the stairs.

"Ella?"

She turned. "Yes oppa?"

"You didn't have your dinner. Did you?"

"I was too busy to."

"Wanna grab some with me?"

"Ne?... I.."

I smiled at her clumsiness. "I'll get the car. Come soon."

"Okay." She nodded smiling.

Third P.O.V.

"Ella wake up." Lisa said. "You'll have to go to Junpyo's house. Remember?"

"What time is it?" She asked in sleepy voice as she rubbed her eyes.

"It's 8.50. Get up." She said sitting beside her.

"I am to pick up Gaeul... I'll be late." She yawned.

"You won't be if you hurry. I'll set up the table."

Ella left after breakfast and picked up Gaeul. They reached Shinhwa mansion and waited for others to come. Junpyo's mom was passing by when she noticed them. She entered the room. They noticed her and greeted.
