Chapter 39

Ella's P.O.V.

It's my fifth day at work. Things are going so well... I get a native vibe here with Jandi Jihoo and grandpa. They take good care of me..... Grandpa reminds me of my grandfather. He used to love me a lot so do grandpa.
Jandi doesn't let me get bored at all and Jihoo..... Being around Jihoo charges me up. That charming smile of his can heal anything. Despite being busy he makes time to meet me... to ask about my day. It might not be a lot but it's too warm. All these things actually make me believe that he cares. But I'm really confused about the love thing with him.......
I have always been in love with him. No matter how many times I deny that it's never gonna change!... But I don't know if I'm worthy of his love. Lisa would've killed me if she had heard it.... I laughed.

I tried so hard to forget about him and stay away from him but... but we met again. All this is a bit much for being coincidence. So I've decided to go with the flow. This time I'll give it a chance.

These days Everything is going on smoothly. And  That's what scares me. Nothing has been this perfect in my life. But above all these days are really very precious to me.

Ah! What am I thinking!.... I have too much free time today. No wonder I was thinking about random things!

"Let's do some work now."
I've some paper work to do. It's my half day. So I can leave for lunch. Then I'll have to go to shopping with Jandi.. But I need to finish doing this.

I was organizing the files when Jandi came.

"Hey! What's up?"

"Hi. Are you done with your work?" I asked

"No I need to do some paper work."

"So do I" I lifted the files to show.

"Yaa you remember about shopping right?"

"Yeah I do." I laughed.

" let's hurry then. Okay?"

"Okay!"

She laughed and left the room.

I took the files. It would've been great if I had a bigger space... Hold on! I guess I can use the doctors lounge on the 11th floor. It should be empty now. I took the files and obviously my headphone. How can I even live without songs.!

Third P.O.V.

As she guessed the room was empty. She sat on a table in the front row. There's a huge mirror in the front wall. She started doing my hair looking at the mirror. I look beautiful! She smiled as she complimented herself.
"No no! I should finish my work first." She started working as she put on the headphones and played her favourite playlist.

After a while songs stopped playing. She looked for the time. It has been almost an hour. No wonder the songs stopped! Okay let's finish this page and then I'll play another playlist. She thought to herself.

She resumed working without putting off the headphones when she heard the door to be opened behind. She didn't bother to turn when she heard Jandi's voice.

"Ella!" Jihoo whispered loud enough for Ella to hear.

She was about to turn when

"She can't hear you. She uses headphones on full volume." Jandi said.

Jihoo looked at Ella. Ella thought not to turn though she wanted badly to.

"Let's not bother her sunbae. We have outing today. She needs to finish that. We need to hurry too." Jandi hurried.
