Chapter 22: The Sudden Text

I walk down to the breakfast table the next morning. Mom made us scrambled eggs and bacon. Mmm.
"Good morning y/n! How was your sleep?" She asks sweetly. "It was good" I answered tiredly. "So, any news from Noah?" She said. What?! What is she talking about?
"Noah who?"
"Noah Jupe!"
I paused. I-
"Uhh, mom, he's a famous actor and you know it's hard to meet famous actors!"
"I know. But I know you met him in London! And you two became really good friends, right?"
I paused again.
"Umm...sure.... but how did you know??"
"Evan texted me last night. He said you had some 'boy problems'"
"I do not have boy problems!!"
"So why did Jeremy and Evan come over yesterday?"
"Beeeecause they're my friends"
"But please admit it y/n! I know you met Noah Jupe for real!"
I can't believe it. I have to say yes! At least she thinks we're "friends".
"Okay okay, Fine! I met Noah Jupe and now he's my friend". That came out surprisingly easy. She nodded. Hope that satisfied her.
After breakfast, I speed walked to my room. I shut the door behind me and breathed. Okay okay, I'm going to look at my phone and see what's poppin'. I got on my phone and got on Instagram. There was............nothing. I frowned at the sight of no dms and the request sign was still there.....until...
Ding!
I stared at my phone. There was something in my dms. I got on there and looked at the "request" section. It was from... njupiter2005. I shrieked but the same time confused. It's like
1 AM where he's at. I look at his text, it said:

But anyway, I'm Noah and

Evan told me... so I was going
follow you but then I saw your
request. You might be asking why
I'm texting you this late cause
my parents won't give me much
screen time in the day so I have
to pretend I'm sleeping...
so, hey.

I gasp. He waste his sleep time just for me?? Aww, his heart is like the size of Jupiter after all. I texted him back.
