Blind Love At Supramonte

-Chapter 9-

Gloria let out a heavy sigh. "You know you shouldn't have done that, you don't need to force yourself, you actually cleaned the whole mansion.. Well... Half of the mansion, but sweetie your injured." Gloria said cleaning sapphire's arms with alcohol, sapphire didn't even wince in pain, she was a doctor before she's used to this. "Can i ask you? But how did you end up being in the shore injured?" Mrs. Gloria asked, Sapphire almost forgot that she had almost experience death and doesn't wanna talk about it, she was still traumatized by the way her (ex) friend, Cherry pushed her off the cliff.

"I had a friend. Who try to kill me." Sapphire continued dabbing her arms with a ball of cotton soaked in alcohol, Gloria slightly opened her mouth wanting to ask or to say something but she quickly shut it. "Umm.. Are you going to continue cleaning the library? It's pretty big in there, like seriously big." Gloria said drawing how Big the library is in mid air. "Really? Does he like to read?" Sapphire was quite confused.

"Dearly. yes, dear, he likes to read before when he wasn't blind, it was his dream to meet with his favorite Italian author, but he was just a young kid back then when the author left and went abroad, he use to sneak out of the manor just to meet with that author when he was a kid." Gloria said resting her chin on her palms "My Daddy was an author, he writes books about horses, mythical creatures and how he and my mommy met." Sapphire said looking at Gloria's eyes. "You know i have never heard a beautiful and a kind teenager like you would call their parents mommy and daddy." Gloria smile widen.

"Teenager? Me? Ma'am but i'm an adult." Sapphire said points herself, chuckling slightly. "An adult? Oh! How old are you perhaps?" Gloria asked curious. "I'm 24." Sapphire said made Gloria eyes wide open, she covered her mouth in shock. "Really?!" She said like she couldn't believe it "I thought you are only like 18 or 19, something!?" Gloria said chuckling at herself. "Maybe because of your beautiful soft skin and your—" Gloria stopped, while chewing her bottom lips, she looked at sapphire. "Height." Gloria continued and release a slight laugh, made Sapphire laugh as well. "What's your full name sweets? I wanna know you a lot! You are very interesting" Gloria said. "Sapphire Aurora Romano." Sapphire said wrapping her arms with bandages.

"Romano?! Are you an Italian?!" Gloria asked proudly like something glowed inside of her. "Half Italian, Half Australian." Sapphire added. "So amazing!" Gloria said, made sapphire slightly laughed. "I never told anyone about my real name tho, even my friend doesn't know about me having a second name. I prefer them calling me sapphire because only my daddy calls me aurora." Sapphire said, remembering her dad, she misses him so much.

After done bandaging her arm, she grab the duster on the counter. "Where are you going sweet pea?" Gloria asked "I wanna continue cleaning the library, where tho?" Sapphire asked with a questionable expression, Gloria pointed the left hall. "Just down the hall hun." She said, leaning against the counter. "Thx." Sapphire said and walked out.

Sapphire arrived to the library made sapphire eyes wide open, seeing a lot of books, it reminds her of her dad, her dad that passed away several years ago, remembering every fun she, and her whole family made, tears almost came out of her eyes a tear rolled down in her cheek but quickly wiped it. While holding the duster, she dust every book in the shelf, every book she cleans made her quite astonished, Lucas has a lot of collection of Mythical stories, Anthologies, Novels and any other books, even old books that never got published by their authors, how did he get these stuff?

While sapphire arranging, stacking every book, according to colors, why? For no reason, she just wanted it to be perfect. Sapphire noticed the book from the high shelf hasn't been touched, so she grabbed the ladder and start climbing, sapphire noticed that all the books are on the high shelf is dusty and old, the book's title is covered in dust.

She blows the dust away made her cough, then blink several times, she then return her glance at the book made her eyes widen.

She saw her daddy's book, the book her daddy made, the love story where he met sapphire's mother, sapphire stutters, releasing understandable words in her mouth, she then look for books that her daddy made, she saw plenty of books that her daddy made in Lucas library. "I didn't know Lucas was a fan of my dad?" Sapphire said proudly.

Sapphire opened the book and while reading it, she hums the song her mom made for his dad, she keep humming this beautiful song. Instead of humming she decided to sing it, her beautiful, angelic voice echoed in the room, suddenly her foot slipped on the ladder made her out balanced.
