"Why come i never hear aunty gloria's voice? She's always in the kitchen." He said, sapphire nodded. "She said she went out with Gabriel and Mr Ronaldo, they went to the city just a few hours ago."
"Ahh, the city? It will take 4 hours just to-be there, this mansion is hidden, not very famous, I'm so tired of fame so I lived here in Italy." He said.
"And another reason is that I'm blind, kinda not let anyone know that The Fernandez's son Lucas Alexandro Fernandez is blind and can't work again." He added.
"Lucas, aren't you worried that your company is collapsing?" Sapphire asked, Lucas shake his head. "I can manage that company even when I'm gone." Lucas said.
"I've told everyone that i had a business trip in Hawaii, but.. i guess i'll never come back." Lucas said. "What? No, your family work hard for that company." Sapphire said.
"Well in my situation Romano, i cant do work, maybe i can never do work again, for me it's so hard to trust doctors, i wanted to see so bad but.... its hard." Lucas said, sapphire rub his back in comfort.
Sapphire observed every corner in Lucas's luxurious mansion, then she wonder. "What was your job earning lots of money?" Sapphire asked. Lucas letting out a heavy sigh on sapphire's random question.
"Well.." he paused. "I didn't much work, it was a inheritance from my dad, i go to collage and learn some stuff, but I stopped when my family died cause my family's company need a new heir." He said.
While everything becomes so silence. Lucas tilt his head and ask a question to sapphire. "Why did you become a doctor?"
"My mom failed its kidney operation, before she died she told me that she wanted me to become a doctor so i could help those other people who suffer from kidney cancer." Sapphire said.
"Why did you quit being a doctor?"
Sapphire froze hearing those questions came out of Lucas mouth, not only a jump on a cliff would be her traumatic experience. "There was this kid... he was my patient... he was a very nice kid, he had brain tumor, and i was assigned to operate him, it was my first time to operate someone in the head, we tried so hard not to shed a sweat but.."
"Keep going..." Lucas said.
"The operation failed and the parents kept blaming me and the other doctors as well, I couldn't sleep after that incident, couldn't eat, i even blamed myself for it, thats why i quit." Sapphire story ended, she didn't crack or said in a low tone, she just felt happy letting out this heavy thing in her chest.
"I'm sorry." Lucas said. "Its okay, its all in the past." She said
"If you didn't become a doctor what possible will you become today?" Lucas asked, Sapphire twiddling her fingers while her palm hugs the cup.
"I wanted to become a writer, an author, who would earn lots of money and spend it for my family, i wanted to hear praises saying how incredible my book was, and bashes of how the stories goes." Sapphire said smiling at her own thoughts.
"Aren't you afraid to take bashes?" Lucas asked, sapphire rolled her eyes, she already had a basher for her entire life. "I don't really care, my mom always say that if someone insulted you it means they're just jealous." Sapphire said. Lucas lips tug exposing a tiny smirk.
"Feisty, guess that's why people hated me, because they're just jealous." He then laughed, made Sapphire laugh as well.
"So? What kind of meds did you take?" Lucas asked.
"Hmm??"
"Neurosurgeon, nephrectomy and vitrectomy." Sapphire answered, Lucas eyes wide open then Sapphire notice it quickly.
"Is something wrong?" Sapphire asked. "N-nothing.. just.. just thinking." He smiled, Sapphire smiled softly.
"You also mention you have two brothers." Lucas said. "I always wanted a brother, but sad i'm the only child."
Sapphire snickers. "You'll hate it, but at the same time you cant resist them so much that you cannot hide the fact that you truly love them." She said.
"Whats the name of your brothers? I mean you have unique name, SAPPHIRE. Is sapphire only your name? sorry i kinda forget things." Lucas asked. "No, my real name is Sapphire Aurora Romano, i never liked my second name i don't know why, i sound like a princess." Sapphire said.
"Being a princess isn't that bad." Lucas said. "Oh by the way, its Mario and Marco, they're name is Mario Romano and Marco Romano, Mario is somehow cold but really sweet on the inside."
"And here is Marco, he is really understandably, he is sweet and caring, but a womanizer." Disappointment came out in sapphire's tone when she described her brother Marco being a womanizer.
"I always scold them, like I'm the mom of the group.. i wonder.. how are they?" Sapphire felt something heavy in her chest, somehow she was really worried.
Lucas notice her sudden silence. "You should rest, you must be tired.." Lucas said. "What time is it anyway?" He asked. "8:30" as Sapphire said staring at the old clock watch.
"Ok, you should rest, i'll rest too." He said as he stood up he grabbed his cane and wave his hands at sapphire, sapphire smiled and waved back.
"A-are you waving back?" Lucas asked as he stutters, Sapphire snickers. "Yes." She said. Lucas scratched his nape "Good night romano." He aaid.
"Good night, Fernandez." She said. As Lucas got back in his room, Sapphire followed back and went inside her room, jumping on her bed, she dozed off.

Sapphire woke up in the middle of the night, she was panting, sweating and trying to catch breath, she had the same dream again, more like a nightmare.
It made her heart beat rapidly, she just can't stop thinking about them, she's so worried that cherry that b*tch, will hurt them or worst.
