Sapphire let out a heavy sigh. "It's complicated.." She said, as she explained everything what happened to her, while Eric stayed calm.

"She did those things to you? Am i right?" He asked.

Sapphire nodded. "I'm sorry Sapphire.." He apologize, as his eyes start to water. "I didn't know.." he said like he was blaming himself.

"Eric.. Don't cry.." She said comforting him, she hugged him tight as he hugged back, Sapphire rubbed his back in circles trying to make him calm.

"It's not your fault."

She gently push him and wiped his tears. "I should be thanking you instead." She said.

Made Eric confused. "W-what?" He asked. "If you didn't brought me to italy, I wouldn't have Lucas.." she said, Smiling at him softly and gently.

"I wouldn't have a family." She said rubbing her stomach.

Eric slightly gapes. "Without you, I wouldn't face my fear, I wouldn't reach my dreams.." she said. "Without you.." she paused.

"I wouldn't be happy.."

"You are one of the reasons why I'm happy right now Eric, you are the reason why you placed me in my happiness." She said, holding his hands.

"You are one of my happiness.."

Eric tears dried up,as he heard those words from her, it has made her calm, it has made his depressing life gone, and why?

Because making Her happy is the best goal he could ever reach to achieve his dreams.

Making her happy is already enough for him.

'Cause she is my bestfriend.'

'And best friends are always there for each other..'

He smiled even tho it hurts, he had loved her with the bottom of his heart, he loved her purely and dearly, but it's the most painful thing he has ever felt in his whole life.

To love someone who can't love you back.

Eric hugged her tightly. "I'll be an uncle of that little baby in your tummy." He said chuckle rubbing her abdomen.

"If it's a boy will you name it peanut butter? So if i found the girl of my dreams i could name our daughter jelly." Eric and Sapphire both laughed. "I think it's a perfect match."

"I let you do his or her nickname." She said, slightly punching his shoulders. "Oww!" He whined.

Sapphire scoffs. "That isn't even painful." She laughed, Eric laughter covered his dying heart. 'It is painful..'

'It's not your punch that hurt me.. it's my feelings.. my corrupted feelings.'

Eric stood up from the chair and hugged her one last time, he hugged her tightly so he could feel her embrace cause this embrace will be in someone else's arms.
