Sapphire noticed how hotheaded Lucas was ever since he came back inside the car, he looks so pissed.
He was sitting in his leather chair, rubbing his temples while drinking a glass of whiskey, Sapphire grabbed the whiskey bottle and put it back on the cabinet and grabbed her robe.
"What's wrong?" She asked, Lucas just stared at her but he didn't say a single word. "Is there something wrong Lucas?" Sapphire asked worried.
"Nothing.. i'm just pissed.. I shouldn't have ask you to go be with me in the bar, my friends is trying to steal you away from me." He said rubbing his temples.
"Aww, Lucas.." She giggles. "They won't take me away from you, I refuse." She said. Lucas grabbed her waist pulling her right beside him, trailing his fingers on the strap of her dress
"Promise me you won't leave me."
"I promise, Baby.." she said cupping his cheeks. "But Lucas.."
"Hmm?"
"Who is that girl with your friend Carlos?" Sapphire asked, Lucas tilt his head. "You mean Jessica?" He asked. Sapphire nodded.
"She keeps looking at you, for some reason i can see that.. there's something bothering her.. should i be worried Lucas?" Sapphire asked.
Lucas shake his head. "No.."
'Should i tell her?'
'What if she misunderstood?'
'Oh. Dang it..'
"I gotta tell you something.. umm.. Jessica is.." Lucas paused as he gulped. "Jessica was my ex." What he said made Sapphire eyes widen.
"Ex? Like.. ex-girlfriend?" Sapphire asked, and Lucas nodded. "But there's nothing between us anymore, I don't care about her.. all i care about is you." He said truthfully.
Sapphire felt relief. "I know.." she said. Lucas kissed her lips, her neck and her everywhere. "Stay away from Carlo, don't go near him.."
"Why?" Sapphire asked.
"He's... He's dangerous." He said. "Lucas.. why?" Sapphire asked even more curious. "Baby.. please.."
When Lucas saw her eyes, he felt a sting in his chest.. he doesn't want her to feel like he's keeping secrets from her, he doesn't want her to feel curious or unimportant.
"Jessica was... Let's just say she was my girlfriend when we were just teenagers, and Carlo was my friend, a very trustworthy one and i told everything about him.. when i started dating Jessica, that's the day when my parents died, she left me because Carlos was more richer than me.. that was from before."
"They both left me because i was useless.. someone who i loved from before left me, i just needed a comfort from the both of them.. but they betrayed me instead.. that was all from before.. you're now here with me, and I'm afraid Carlo might take you away from me.." Lucas said as his hugs tighten not wanting to let her go.
"Carlo will never take me away from you.. because I'm yours.. i'm only yours.." she said.
'But will you stay even if you find out about the truth?'

"I want a Divorce.."
Jessica felt numb hearing those words.. she shake her head in hesitation. "No.. were married for years!!" Jessica yelled.
"So?" He paused. "Aren't you happy? I'm freeing you, you can date anyone you want now, you can be that whore from before.." what he said made her heart crack.
"No! No! I'm not divorcing you!! I love you!!" She yelled on the top of her lungs. But he just stared at her..
"But I don't.."
Jessica's tears were streaming down as she sobbed. "See!" He yelled.
"This is why I don't love you.. you are such a cry baby.. why can't you just be like any other girls? Be hot! Everytime you touch me i feel like i was being touch by a whore.." Carlos Said.
"Please don't do this.. i can change! I promise! I'll change!" She yelled as she grabbed his shirt, but Carlos pushed her made her butt landed on the ground.
She gasp. "Get. Out." He said.
"Carlos.. Carlos you can't do this! You can't!" She yelled, Carlo shake his head. "I can! You're going to sign that divorce paper or else.. i'm going to kill you with my own hands." He added.
Suddenly a knock on the door interrupted them. "Hey cuz—"
"CHERRY!!" Carlos cheered. "What's going on here? Some drama?" Cherry asked, while looking down at Jessica.
"No.. there's no drama.. i'm just taking the trash OUT." Carlo almost yelled, his words hurt her heart, her glance diverted at cherry who was grimacing at her.
"What are you doing here? Get out!" Cherry said while raising her voice. "Stay out of this!" Jessica yelled back.

But what she earn is a hard slap from someone else's hands. It was Carlos.
She gasp. "Don't ever yell on her ever again!" He warned. "Why are you even doing this? Carlos! I am your wife!"
Carlos held her wrist tightly. "No.. not anymore.."
"I don't need you"
"You are disgusting."
"I rather die than being with you."
"Now leave."

It was a rainy day in New York, people were rushing back to go home to their family, traffic lights were blinking momentarily.
Walking on the streets in passed midnight, stopping herself from sobbing.
Her body is wrap in a black trench coat, feet were sore because of her heels, and soak wet because of the rain.
She stopped infront of the telephone booth.
She stared at the booth for so long.
She hesitated to enter but got in anyways.. she grabbed the phone and placed it in her ears.
As she clicked numbers, the phone rang.
Finally someone answered.
"Hello?"
Her lips were trembling as she tries to speak.
"Can i talk with Lucas Fernandez."
