Part 14 - Chaos

I awoke the next morning in Grayson's bed. I forgot I had stayed last night, but I decided I needed to go back to my room to get ready for the day and see Rose.

I slowly got up off the bed, trying not to wake Grayson. I tip toe out of the room and make my way down the corridor. I had a very eary feeling though, as if something was wrong. I wasn't exactly sure what it was, but I could tell it wasn't good.

When I got back to my room, the door was unlocked. That's was super weird. Rose usually always locks the door. Now I was even more worried.

I slowly pushed open the door, weary of what I was gonna see inside. I screamed. There was blood splattered all over the floor, and Rose was lying on the ground, unconscious.

I wasn't sure what to do, so I tried to shake her awake.

"Rose!! Hey wake up!! Can you hear me!?"

It was no use. I didn't know what else to do, so I ran out of the room and down the hall back to Grayson's room.

I shook him awake, and practically yelled at him to come help me.

"What the fuck are you talking about El?"

"It's Rose!! Something happened! Now come on!"

I practically had to drag him out of bed to finally get him to start running down the hallway back to my room.

"Oh shit" he said when he walked through the door.

"What do we do Grayson!?"

"Hold on let me go get Ethan"

Grayson ran out of the room to grab Ethan real quick. I stayed back, still trying to shake Rose awake.

I had an idea. I went into our bathroom, grabbed one of the cups sitting on our counter and filled it with cold water. I walked back over to Rose carefully, making sure not to spill.

Once I got to her, I just dumped the whole thing on her face. I crossed my fingers.

I jumped as she suddenly gasped and sat up, only to shout "fuck" and then lay back down. I went over to her bed and grabbed a pillow to prop her head up with.

"What happened to you Rose?! You nearly gave me a heart attack."

"What happened to you!! You weren't even here last night!"

"That definitely doesn't matter right now, you have a huge gash in your head and you still haven't told me why."

Grayson and Ethan came running into the room.

"Oh good, she woke up" Grayson panted

Ethan looked confused "What even happened here?"

"I don't know! She won't tell me!" I exaggerated

Rose seemed fed up, "Guys just calm down, I'll tell you geez. So, it was about 3 in the morning when I heard a loud noise coming from the dining hall. So, naturally, I got up to check it out. I slowly stepped out of my room, and walked down to the dining hall. I saw one of the girls just completely destroying a framed picture of Ethan and Grayson that was placed on the piano in there. I was confused on why she was doing this, but then I realized that she was wearing a mask as well. I put two and two together and found out she was trying to escape. She picked up one of the glass shards from the picture frame after she saw me standing in the doorway. I got scared when she scowled at me, and attempted to run back in here. I got here, but not fast enough. I didn't have time to lock the door before she caught up to me. She grabbed my arm, and punched me in the face, knocking me to the ground. She then grabbed the piece of glass and swung at me, cutting open my head. I immediately passed out at the sight of my own blood, and she got away."

Grayson and Ethan looked furious.

Grayson scoffed, "We appreciate you trying to stop her, but do you know who it was by any chance?"

" I didn't really see her face because she was wearing a mask, but the one black streak in her blonde hair led me to believe it was Violet."

Ethan nodded, "Yep that's Violet. Fuck. You know what this means Gray?"

Grayson looked up, " We have to warn the rest of the girls, we have to get this place clean and ready for when the damn police show up in the lobby. Ethan, I need you to go put the wall in front of the room, and Ellie, I need you to tell the rest of the girls at breakfast that it's a code blue."

I was astonished. "Wait, this has happened before!?"

Ethan rolled his eyes "Many times, most of the girls escape during the night, such as Violet did, because Grayson is to dumb to actually remember to lock the hatch to the roof."

Rose's head perked up, "but she went towards the lobby, not the roof hatch."

Grayson and Ethan turned to eachother. My eyes widened as I realized what was happening.

Grayson and Ethan jumped up and raced out of the room, leaving Rose and I behind.

Rose turned to me, "go"

I jumped up, hoping she would let me go, and raced down the hallway after the twins. There was little splatters of blood along the walls of the corridor. How could one girl cause this much damage?
