Part 22 - Miami

After dinner last night, Grayson and I stayed in a nice hotel before the long drive the next day. I still wasn't sure where we were going, but Gray had said it was about a 5 hour drive away.

The next morning, Grayson woke me up at about 7:30 am

"Come on El, time to go."

I rubbed my eyes, "Why so early Gray?"

"Because I don't wanna get there when it's dark. The car ride is better during the day."

"okay"

I got up and brushed my teeth, did my hair, and dressed in something other than a dress for the first time in over a year. It was kinda weird, but a lot more comfortable.

I walked outside and I saw that Grayson was holding my camera.

"say cheessseee"

I posed, letting him taking my picture. Giggling the whole time.

The picture printed out the top, and Grayson looked at it

"Damn girl, you be lookin hot todaayy"

I laughed, "let me see"

He handed me the picture

I smiled, "I'd have to admit, that is a pretty good picture Gray"

" only because its of you. Now come on, hop in."

Grayson had taken the top off his car, (I know porches can't do that but give me a break it's for the aesthetic) because it was already almost 80 degrees outside, even in the early morning.

The whole car ride there we blasted music, singing at the top of our lungs until we thought our vocal chords were gonna explode. It was an amazing feeling to have someone to do that with now.

I could tell we were going somewhere warm, because about 3 hours in, there were palm trees everywhere, it was mesmerizing.

Grayson saw me taking pictures, "you're gonna love it here."

I laughed, "Where even are we Gray?"

He looked over at me and smiled from ear to ear. "We're in Miami"

I screamed excitedly, "Gray!!!"

He just smiled and continued driving, and I couldn't take my eyes off of the scenery. It was so beautiful.

After about another hour, Gray stopped the car at this beach.

He smiled, "Come on, get your stuff, we're here."

I was confused, "but we're at a beach?"

He chuckled, "exactly"

I got out of the car and went around to the back, grabbed my stuff, and followed Grayson. We walked down the beach for about three minutes before we got to a huge hotel.

"Oh my god Gray, Is this where we're staying?!"

He smiled, "sure is, now let's go check in. The view from our room is even better."

We walked down a long pathway with palm trees all the way down it. There was water on both sides of the path, and people swimming. It was beyond imagination.

We got all checked in, and headed up to our room. As I was putting my clothes in the dresser, Gray opened the curtains covering the huge window.

To my surprise, it wasn't a window, there was a sliding glass door behind the curtains that led to a balcony. The balcony was huge. There was our own small hot tub, a table, and a barbecue along with many plants.

I ran and got my camera quickly because the view was just so stunning.

"come on, lets go get our bathing suits on and take some pictures down at the beach." Gray said.

I jumped up and down, "okaayy"

After we changed, we headed down to the beach. Everything was just so beautiful and I couldn't believe Grayson did all of this just for me.

Grayson was sitting on some rocks in front of me, "CANDID" I shouted

He turned around and smiled, resulting in the cutest picture of all time.

Agh I just couldn't with him. He was literally the sweetest person I had ever met, and he was incredibly hot as well. How did I get this lucky?
