Part 29 - I Thought You Loved Me

-Grayson's POV-

I walked down to Ellie's room to go wake her up, as we were going on a date tonight. Tonight was the night I was gonna propose the idea that we move out, and but a new house together. I was nervous, but since we were engaged now, I thought it was a good idea. 

Once I got to her room, Rose was sitting outside, reading her book.

I smiled at her, "Hey what's up Rose."

She looked up at me with a worried look on her face, "You might not wanna go in there."

I was confused, "Why? What's happening?"

"I'm not sure, Ethan went in there crying about half an hour ago and he hasn't come out yet."

I was even more obligated to go in there now, I turned the door nob slowly and wearily peaked my head in.

In that instant, I wished I would have never even opened the door. I wished I would've just listened to Rose, and stayed out of it.

In front of me, Ethan lunged at Elliana, smashing his lips into hers, their lips put together like puzzle pieces.

My heart dropped immediately and I didn't know what to do, I had no words.

Elliana immediately pushed him away, "Ethan what the fuck."

I found my voice now, "Ya, Ethan what the fuck!"

Ethan looked worried now. He ran out of the room, back to his like a scared dog. It took all of my strength to not pin him to the wall and rip his eye balls out.

I walked into Elliana's room and slammed the door behind me.

"Grayson I can explain!" Elliana had tears rolling down her face. I hated to see her like this, but she brought it on her self.

"Yep I would love an explanation"

She was balling at this point, "E-Ethan came in crying, he said he needed my help. He was saying stuff about how he thought the world would be better off without him. I gave him a huge long speech about how that wasn't true, and then he just kissed me."

I shook my head, "I don't believe you El, tell me the truth."

-Elliana's POV-

He shook his head, "I don't believe you El, tell me the truth."

My heart dropped. How could he not believe me! He has been with me for over 2 years now, for Christ's sake, we're engaged. I thought he trusted me.

I was sobbing at this point, "Grayson what's not to believe! We're fucking engaged, I love you, why would I ever do that to you!"

-Grayson's POV-

I hated seeing her like this. It broke my heart, and she had a point. I went and sat on her bed next to her. She was all curled up in a ball, crying.

I layed down next to her, "Hey, it's okay, I'm here."

She uncurled herself and snuggled up to me, resting her head on my chest.

I ran my fingers through her hair, "It's okay, I've got you now."

After about five minutes of me reassuring Elliana that everything was going to be okay, she fell asleep in my arms.

I needed to talk to Ethan to confirm what Elliana had said was true, and if it was then to tell him off.

My thoughts got interrupted by Elliana talking in her sleep,

"E-ethan you can't love me. I love Grayson"

I smiled, that's my girl.

I leaned down and kissed her head, "I love you too babygirl don't worry."
