Seven Saviours (Chapter Eight)

Chapter Eight: Headmaster Clawde

~Headmaster's Head Table Room~

"We have an amzing group of students, Cleodore. I think the best yet." Essence's soft voice breezed through the room.

"I agree. This should be an interesting year..." Cleodore's low voice rumbled in response.

"Hmmm." Raevyn's voice was scratchy compared to Essence's. She cleared her throat.

"I think the sooner we know, the better. Wasting time we don't have isn't wise. How long do we have, Clawde?" Raevyn questioned. The three Headmaster's looked towards Clawde. He had his hands clasped under his chin, and was staring off into space at the mahogany table.

"Ahem...Clawde?" Essence called him once more in her soft, sing-songy voice. His head shot up. He smiled.

"My opologies, friends." He looked at Raevyn. "We have about a year, Raevyn. Not long at all once you count holidays and other events they may choose to take part in." he added waving his hand absent mindedly. Essence nodded.

"Have you...sensed anything Clawde? Anything peculiar? About any certain students?" Essence questioned. Clawde slowly shook his head.

"I am unsure at the moment." Essence spoke up once more.

"That last group we saw, I felt something odd pulling me towards them. They are strong as a group, no?" Everyone but Clawde nodded in agreement. He slowly shook his head.

"I would like to conference with each one separatly. Knowing where they came from and what type of person they are may give us clues to....well to whatever we can find." Raevyn nodded in agreement.

"I have asked Syth if she had noticed anything...peculiar about any students. She responded by telling me that the twins, Shaylee Amoy and Syeira Taniyah, are both past gymnasts, have excellent athletic abilities and are excelling beyond expectations in her class. Especially Shaylee Amoy, who has unimaginable speed. However, the rest of them meaning Tyrell, Miyuki, Durante, Jaedon, and Waiz all have exceptional reflexes and coordination. Tally, Clair and Ivy are all included in this group, although not as strong. " Raevyn told the group. Essence nodded.

"That is simular to what I have heard. It turns out that Miyuki is excelling in her healing studies, Waiz in his musical ability and concentration in meditation, Tyrell in his psychology, Syeira Taniyah in both psychology and math, Durante in Science and Shaylee Amoy in psychology and gym class. Does this tell us anything as to what they may be capable of, Clawde?" Essence looked exspectantly at their leader. He nodded solemly.

"I believe that by encouraging them to continue in these subjects, we will uncover what abilities they might have, and what they can offer us. How are their friends doing, Cleodore?" Cleodore cleared his throat and began.

" Tally, who is a close friend of Miyuki's, is doing very well in her meditation. Her abilitiy to...almost detach...from her mind and body are exceptional. Madi, one of Shaylee Amoy's close friends, is also doing well in her meditation. Her drama levels are high, being able to take on different roles of many different things without difficulty. Her science studies of animals is the highest in the class. Clair, a good friend of Syeira Taniyah's, is good in psychology. Her abilities to mentally calculate emotions is in-human almost. She picks up on the smallest feelings and can act very well despite being a bit shy with new people. They are also quite interesting, we should watch them."

Clawde nodded thoughtfully, obviously happy with their discoveries.

"Jaedon's new friend, Pierre, is also under my radar. He is all around exceptional. There are others, but for now this is who I want watched. Understood?"

The three Heads nodded, and were dismissed. The next week or so would be a secret test for the eleven children. Passing was not mandatory, but would determine what role they would play in the future. Clawde smiled to himself. This was proving to be an interesting group of children.
