JUNGKOOK
"Jeon Jungkook, you better get your derrière up here within the next ten seconds, or else we're leaving without you!"
Two weeks flew by in a flash. Before I knew it, homework turned into after school studying. Math tests that are barely worth 10% of our grades, turned into exams that are worth 35%. I'm not one to get nervous for tests or homework that's due, but you bet my ass I get hella scared for exams.
Right now, it's Saturday morning. Our last exam finished on Wednesday, and we had the rest of the week off. For most of us, if you had missed an exam on the previous days, you'd have to go in on Thursday. But everyone should know that.
My last semester at Eastwood just ended and I'm starting to feel anxious. Kinda homesick, even though I haven't even been to the new school.
I'll miss my friends for sure. Heck, I'll even miss the people I used to hate, the classmates that would ignore my entire existence. The stressful teachers, that one librarian that'd always give the students that look. I'll miss everything about Eastwood.
Who wouldn't? It's such a good school, I'm still trying to figure out why my mom wanted to change schools in the first place...
- Shit right, my mom -
"Jungkook?"
My mom yells from, what I would assume, the kitchen. I'm quick to reply
"Yeah sorry, I was just getting my jacket. I'll be up in a bit!"
With that, I grab my stuff and run upstairs. I'm met with Jimin by the front door already dressed to leave, and my mother getting out of the kitchen with her keys and purse in hand.
"You ready to go, bub?"
"Yes, we can go now, Mama"
My brother takes the lead in opening the door, I follow closely behind as my mom closes the door and locks it. We head over to the car, and as it's unlocked, we get right in.
On any other day, I'd fight with my brother for the seat at the front, but since my nerves are getting the best of me, I let him have it.
You see, we're going to Sacred today. We're getting a tour of the building and finding our classes. I'm quite nervous, to say the least.
"You kids ready?"
"Let's just go, mom"
Looks like Jimin isn't having it today. It doesn't surprise me if I'm being honest. He seems to have had a shift in personality since we got the news. I place my bets on it having something to do with leaving Eastwood. Correction, leaving Yoongi.
I don't blame him, Yoongi's his first love. And from the way things were heading, it looked like they were getting pretty serious. Yoongi has always been Jimin's best friend, the one and only by his side, it's hard leaving that behind.
The car ride to school is pretty quiet. Mama paying attention to traffic, my brother playing with his hands and me sitting there, not daring to speak.
- I'm so fucking scared -

"Hello there, you must be Mrs. Jeon"
The principal says as he firmly shakes my mother's hand.
"Yes I am indeed"
And cue boring adult talk
"I'm so glad you decided to come to Sacred. It's a lovely school if I do say so myself"
