Toni's POV

~The next day~

I opened my eyes, waiting for everything to come in to focus. I rolled over to grab Cheryl, but was surprised to see an empty space. I sat up in the bed, rubbing my eyes and looked to see if Cheryl was in the room still. I was hit with a sudden smell of food, which soon drew me out of the room. I walked down the stairs and towards the kitchen. I noticed Cheryl hovering over the stove. I wrapped my arms around her waist and placed a kiss on her cheek.

"Mornig beautiful. What ya cookin?" I asked.

"A cooked breakfast, including my favourite pancakes. Thought I would do something nice for you." Cheryl smiled and turned to face me.

"I love you." She said, which gave me a warm feeling. It felt amazing that we were finally saying it.

"I love you too." I answered. "I don't want to disturb your cooking so I will just go back upstairs and get changed."

"Okay babe. I'll call you when it's done." Cheryl answered as I left the room. She was so thoughtful.

~later on that day~

I was back at my trailer. I opened the door to see my grandfather sitting in his usual chair.

"Hello Toni. How is Cheryl?" He asked. I locked the door before walking over to him.

"She's great. I actaully, umm, I actaully said I love you to her for the first time...and...she said it back." I answered.

"I'm happy for you Toni."

"Thanks. Anyway, I'm going to my room for a minute." I stated upon my exit.

I pulled my diary out once more and layed on my bed. I grabbed a pen and started to write.

Dear diary,

I did It! I finally did It! I  told Cheryl that I love her. She said it back. The moment couldn't have been any more perfect. It will be a long lasting memory. I know that for sure.

I had mixed emotions. I laughed at the way Cheryl was dancing, but nothing made me happier when she said those three words, those three simple words back to me. I was so scared that she wasn't ready and that things would become awkward but they didn't.

I've been in a few relationships in the past, but nothing like this. It was different, with Cheryl. I had never felt this sort of feeling for someone else before. It's strong. What I have with Cheryl is something I don't want to lose. Not ever. I couldn't imagine life without her.
