A/N: Two updates in one day?! I know, I'm spoiling ya. :3 I just feel so inspired, right meow. (10 points to whoever knows what 'right meow' is a reference to.)

The days trailed on as (Y/N) was back to avoiding Urie at all costs. Sure, she felt bad about slapping him the way she did, but to be frank, he deserved it. She groaned, lamenting over if she should apologize to the sharp eyed male as she sipped on her coffee in the kitchen. She was interrupted by Shirazu wandering in.

"Hey, (Y/N). Everything alright," he asked, slumping over the table. To be completely frank, being squad leader was more than he had bargained for, and he was pretty exhausted. "Yeah," the (H/C) girl replied, setting her coffee down and looking over to him with a small smile that didn't quite reach her eyes. He looked over at her, a guilty expression  covering his face.

"Listen, I'm sorry, (Y/N). Urie tricked me into thinking that if I got credit for Torso, I could be promoted and get more money," he explained, running a hand through his orange locks. Her features softened a little, and she asked, "Why do you need money, Ginshi? Is everything alright?" He frowned down at the table, playing with his fingers. After a moment, he replied, "It's kind of personal. Anyways, that's not what I really came in here for. Saiko won't leave her room, and I know she likes you. Would you be able to help, maybe?"

At this, she nodded a little. "That's fair. I'll give it my best shot, sure," she replied, getting up and following Shirazu upstairs to Saiko's door. She knocked a couple times. "Saiko," she cooed, softly, "C'mon, kiddo. We have work to do." She heard a hiss through the other side of the door, making her deadpan at her captain. "Uhh, did she just hiss at me," she asked, her eyebrow twitching. Shirazu sighed, his kagune forming. "Back away from the door," he said, glaring a little. She did as he asked, watching as he blasted the door and made a mental note that their mentor definitely wouldn't appreciate that.

Saiko's room was dark, but (Y/N) could tell that the small girl was bundled up under the covers of her bed. Sighing, she waltzed in and sat on the bed. She felt for the girl, knowing that her mother had basically sold her to the CCG for monetary gain. "Saiko," she said again, "I know it isn't ideal, but you gotta pull your own weight around here, too. We're a team, right?" When the lump hissed at her again, she sighed a little and rubbed her forehead in irritation.

Soon enough, she heard another set of footsteps enter the room. To her surprise, it was Urie. She found herself being surprised a lot, today. "Let me give it a go," he said stoically, making eye contact with (Y/N). She grumbled, "Be my guest, walnut," before getting up and exiting the room. His heart stung as he noticed she maintained as much space away from him as she could while she left.

She headed downstairs, sighing again as she noticed Haise sitting in the living room. She waved, receiving one in return from her chipper mentor. "Hey, Haise," she said softly, expecting to be reprimanded for slapping Urie. She hadn't exactly made her presence known for the last few days since the event. She was embarrassed that her emotions could have spun out so easily.

"(Y/N), I feel like I haven't seen you in days," Haise replied, smiling brightly at the girl. She swore she could have evaporated in that moment, if she wanted to. His expression shifted from cheerful to somewhat serious. "Listen, (Y/N), you dont have to go out of your way like that for me. Urie is a little rough around the edges, but I'm really doing all this for his own good," he said quietly, touching his chin. She nodded a little, replying, "I sincerely apologize, Haise. My emotions got the better of me. I will be working on that in the coming days."

He smiled brightly again, making (Y/N) wonder how his moods shifted so easily. "Don't go changing who you are just to atone," he said cheerily, "Just try not to let it happen, again, okay?" She nodded cheekily, her mood having been restored. "I'll be sure to remember that, but if you need someone to put him in his place again, say the word. I'll do anything you ask of me," she said, winking at him. A light red dusting covered his cheeks as he nodded, glad that she was finally acting like herself again.
