THREE YEARS LATER
JACE'S POV
Clary and I are waiting for the newcomers. A shadowhunter family decided that they wanted their children to grow up at the New York institute. Maryse gave the institute to us because she was getting sick and Alec and Isabelle didn't want it.
A portal opens. Out steps a blond women and a brown haired man. They had two children with them.
"Hello you must be Mr. and Mrs. Porter! I'm Clary Herondale and this is my husband Jace!" Clary smiles at them and I wave.
"I'm Natalie and this is my husband Tomis. These are our children Luke and Lilly. Luke's six and Lilly's four." Natalie seems nice. We let them in and intrude them to everybody.
AN HOUR LATER
Jonathan, Luke, Lilly, and I all sit in the library. I'm teaching them how to play go fish. It's Jonathan's turn.
"Daddy! Do you have a Queen of Hearts?" Jonathan says with excitement.
"Go fish." I tell him.
I start to take a sip of my water.
Jonathan turns to Lilly. "Why do you look so funny?" I spit my water everywhere. Lilly started crying.
Luke looks suprised.
"Jonathan, Lilly doesn't look funny. You need to apologize." I say firmly.
"But she does!"
"Remember Ariana? Well that's what Ariana would look like." I say as my eyes glaze over remember that memory.
"Oh. I'm sorry Lilly."
She sniffles a little as she accepts the apology. They hug.
"Awww" I hear and turn to see Izzy, Magnus, Clary, and Natalie.
