Xavier's POV

After the talk in the kitchen, I took Ariana upstairs. We walk into our room and lie down on the bed.

Our fingers intertwine. I look into her green eyes and smile. She smiles back.

"Ari, I have to tell you wants been on my mind for a few days now." I whisper. She nods for me to continue. "I've been thinking about you. What we are. I decided that I love you. I love you so much, you can never understand how much. If I had a penny for every time I thought of you, I would have one, because you never leave my mind."

Ariana smiles and kisses me. "I love you too." Her eyes water.

"Baby, don't cry." I kiss away her tears of what I assume to be happiness. Than I kiss her.

Our soft lips are pushed together. Moving as one, we pull away to catch our breath only to slam our lips back together.

I pull away and start to kiss Ariana's neck. Her hands are pulling on my hair.

"Xavier," she pants. "We can't."

We pull away. "You're right, I'm sorry."

I lie on my side looking at her as she comes close I hold her.

Soon sleep consumes us, the way that sleep does.

Jace's POV

It's late, everyone is in bed, but Clary and I. We need to find Sebastian. We told Jia, she has people on look out for Sebastian.

Clary and I sit on the couch, starring at a wall. Clary's head is on my shoulder.

I hear a knock on the door. Clary and I walk to the door together. We open it to see the Seelie Queen.

"Please, help me." She begs.

Clary and I step out of the way and let her in.

"It's the Morgenstern boy, he's still ali-"

"We know. We also know that he has been doing experiments on Mundanes." I cut her off.

"The Mundanes are willingly agreeing. He has a spell that makes them do whatever they want." The Queen states. "He used it on me, and he'll use it to get what he wants."

"Why didn't you tell Jia?" Clay questions.

"Because you're the only ones who would believe that he has this power."

We nod.

"Find a room to stay in, I have feeling you'll be here for a long time."
