Jonathan's POV
Lily is in the infirmary with the silent brothers. I'm in my bed crying with Mom and Dad conferring me, just like when I was three years old and had lost Ariana.
Mom runs her hand through my hair. Dad stands up.
"Jon, I'm going to go see how she is." I nod in response to my father.
Mom continues to rub circles on my back. "You must really care about her." I nod. "I felt the same way about your father, Jonathan, your in love with Lily."
I shake my head. "We haven't even kissed before."
Mom laughs. "You're father and I thought we were siblings for two months!"
That's really weird.
"You go to sleep sweetheart, I'll wake you when we get information about Lily." Mom stood up and left me in my dark room.
Lily's POV
I can't see anything, I've never been so scared in my life. I can here everyone. Dad is talking about how he's going to kill whoever did this to me. He thinks Jonathan did it. I doubt it.
Someone grabs my hand. I start to panic.
"Lily calm down." I hear Mr. Herondale say.
"Sorry Mr. Herondale."
He laughs. "Lily, for the last time, call me Jace!" I blush as he says these words. "On a more sirius note, how do you feel?"
"Jace! Get out of here! I can handle my own daughter!" I hear my father yell.
Mr. Porter, it would also help if you could leave so we can help Miss. Lily. The silent brothers words echo through my head.
I just can't wait till this is all over.
