Chapter 13

JONATHAN'S POV

I hadn't even opened my eyes yet, but I felt so happy. Lily was using me as a pillow. My arms were wrapped around her.

I felt Lily start to try to get away, I tighten my hold on her waist.

"Jonathan, let me go!" She whisper yells.

"Nope!" I whisper back.

She sighs and lies back down. I finally open my eyes to her bright blue ones. I smile and kiss her nose.

I feel bad about not kissing her (not just because it would be my first kiss), but she just broke up with Harrison. And my own Parabatai (better?) would kill me?

I hear the door open. Lily holds her breath. I rubbed circles on her shoulder.

"Jonathan?" I hear my Mom asks.

"Yes?" I yell back.

"Your father's home! If you find Lily tell her that her dad is back too?" Mom asks.

I smile "Of course."

I hear the door close. I let Lily go and she jumps to her feet. I frown.

I was suppose to help her up like the gentleman I was.

I walk her to her room. When we get there I kiss her forehead and go to change.

TWENTY MINUTES LATER

Dad and Mom were sitting close to each other. We're eating breakfast in the dinning room. Lily and I were playing footsie under the table I kick Dad once. Oops.
