Chapter 1- Fall Of Cybertron

Inside The Ark, Outside of Cybertron's Atmosphere
"We have no choice, Bumblebee," said Optimus Prime. "The war is lost. Leaving our home is the hardest decision I have ever made. It has been a long painful war with the Decepticons." The two walked through a door. Optimus pointed to a yellow and black energy portal and declared, "Whatever lies beyond that portal is our best and last hope, my friend." Alarms sounded as the Nemesis was drawing over them. Optimus recognized, "Megatron." Cables appeared and smashed through the windows. Everyone took cover as they heard blaster fire. Bumblebee got hit by another cable. Ratchet went to check up on Bumblebee. He asked, "Bumblebee, you with us?" Bumblebee started to stir as Ratchet reported, "Optimus, he's coming around." Optimus sighed with relief, "Thank the maker." Ratchet reminded, "He's been through worse. Voice chip is still crushed. Nothing new there. Base Energon levels are normal. Shields are charging up." Optimus walked off as the white and red being continued to check on Bumblebee. Then three Decepticons came out with weapons raised. A bright light enveloped which blinded the Decepticons and Bumblebee blasted them to pieces. He began to get back up to his feet as Ratchet said, "Here, grab this ammo kit. More Decepticons are trying to board. Don't forget to reload." The yellow Autobot nodded as he took the ammo and reloaded his weapon. "More Decepticons are trying to board!" exclaimed one of the Autobots. Another shouted, "Defend the bridge!" Optimus, Bumblebee, and Ratchet, as well as the other Autobots, fired their weapons at the incoming Decepticons coming from the Nemesis ship's cables. "That's showing them!" smiled the first Autobot. Optimus reminded, "Megatron won't give up that easily." Ratchet went to one of the computer terminals and said, "Teletran, hold damage analysis on all decks." Teletran responded, "Firewall breached. Unauthorized access." A holographic image of Megatron's head appeared and stated, "Your precious Ark won't reach that portal, Optimus." Teletran droned, "Shield failure on starboard thruster." Megatron added, "I will rip your ship apart, piece by piece!" The hologram flickered out as the Nemesis's cables released from the Ark and the Autobots heard explosions in their ship. "Optimus!" reported the second Autobot. "Decepticons are swarming the engine decks!" The Autobot leader replied, "I'm on my way! Bumblebee, stay here and defend the bridge!" He runs out with the other Autobots to the engine and Bumblebee and Ratchet felt the Ark rumble again as Teletran droned, "Teletran system failure." The Autobot medic said in shock, "No! The entire defense network is down. Without the pulse cannons, Optimus doesn't stand a chance." Ratchet turns to Bumblebee and said, "You'll have to reboot the systems manually. Take this fusion from Teletran. It should reactivate the service lift." Bumblebee nods as he takes the fusion from the ship's computer. Ratchet added, "Good luck, Bumblebee." The yellow Autobot hurries away as another Autobot comes up to Ratchet and reported, "Sir! The Decepticons are coming for the protoforms!" He cursed, "Blast! If the Decepticons take the protoforms, they'll double their numbers or at the very least destroy them!" The Autobot asked, "What do we do?" Ratchet answered, "What we can do. Take out the Decepticon numbers and eject the protoforms toward the portal!" The Autobot asked, "But won't that destroy the protoforms?" Ratchet assured, "The pods that the protoforms are in can withstand any damage! I think. Anyways there's no time for this, go!" The Autobot nodded, "Yes sir!" Several other Autobots changed into their vehicular forms and drove on their way. Ratchet sighed softly as he murmured, "Til all are one."

The Decepticons ran into the Ark toward the storage room's door outside where the protoforms were being held. "What do we do, commander?" asked one of the Decepticons. The Decepticon commander answered, "Lord Megatron wants us to capture as many protoforms we can get and hurry back to the Nemesis before the Ark gets blown out of space!" A second Decepticon asked, "But what if the Autobots show up?" The commander answered, "Then destroy the Autobots! If it all goes to failure, make sure those protoforms get destroyed! Lord Megatron won't allow Optimus to have more in his army!" Then the Autobots suddenly appeared as both squad leaders shouted, "Scrap 'em!" Both sides blasted each other as two Decepticons managed to get two pods but the Ark rumbled from the hits it was receiving from the Nemesis. The two Decepticons slipped onto their backs and dropped their pods as their commander yelled, "Move, you idiots! Megatron will scrap us all if we don't retrieve or destroy the protoforms!" One of the Decepticons mouthed back, "That is if we don't get scrapped here first!" The Decepticon commander snapped, "Do as you're told!" The Autobots shot three of the Decepticons before their enemies did as well. The Decepticon commander declared, "If we can't have the protoforms, then no one will!" He headed to the door and opened it as he shifted his right arm into a Dimensional Decimator and aimed at all of the protoforms. The Autobot commander shouted, "No!" He dashed toward the Decepticon commander and tackled him. The Dimensional Decimator fired onto one of the walls outside of the room but it ripped a big hole onto the ship. Both groups of the Autobots and Decepticons went flying as the Autobot commander hung on for dear life. He slowly stepped on his way to an access terminal where the eject button was. The Autobot commander looked at the protoforms as he paraphrased Optimus Prime, "Whatever lies beyond that portal is our best and last hope, my friends." He reached his hand to the eject button until he heard the Decepticon commander screaming, "AUTOBOT!" The Decepticon commander also hung on to the Ark and he wanted to take out both the Autobot and protoforms with him. The Autobot commander turned back to the protoforms and added, "Hope you guys find a better place to call home. Until then, till all are one." He presses the eject button and the protoforms went flying toward the portal. The Autobot commander lets go as he tackles the Decepticon commander toward Cybertron and getting heated on entry.
