RWBY: More Than Meets The Eye

Chapter 13- Convoy Part 2

Sky Warper and Sari Sumdac continued their drive in the cab-over truck until the pilot looked at the side mirror and saw an airship flying overhead. "That's the one!" recognized Sky. "That's the one who shot me down!"

Grimwing opened up the tire on his forearm and inspected his GPS terminal. It also had the ability to detect any Decepticon with a five mile radius. Unfortunately the Autobot couldn't detect any Decepticons. "What?" said Grimwing with confusion. "My sensors aren't picking up any Decepticon life signals." Lavender Lilac asked, "Are you sure?" He answered, "I'm sure." She wondered, "What if they're utilizing some kind of cloaking tech?"

Colby Charcoal and Tanner Auburn were enjoying the radio until they noticed four green and black sports cars surrounding Colby's race car. "What the heck is goin' on?" asked Colby. "They're blockin' me off!" Tanner called in, "We're feeling a little crammed here, Sari!"

Sari called back, "Get ready for anything, everyone!" A fifth car drove over to the truck's driver side as Sky and Sari looked to see a masked man climb out of the roof window. "Well, I'll be dipped!" quipped Sky. The masked man responded, "Pull over!" Sari took her scroll and reported, "Everyone! Our enemies are humans, not Decepticons!"

Grimwing was perplexed when Sari said that. "Humans?" asked Grimwing and Lavender in unison. The two heard Tanner say, "Decepticons I can understand, but humans?"

Colby jerked his steering wheel to slam the sports car on the left but the sports car on the right responded with the same force. "Well, that wasn't a good idea," muttered Colby. Tanner looked up to see a couple of boulders on a hill and used his semblance to telekinetically roll the boulders toward two sports cars. The boulders missed and hit Colby's race car's spoiler. "You know I'm not payin' for damages, right?" asked Colby. Tanner shrugged his shoulders and chuckled a bit.

The masked man pointed his shotgun toward Sky and Sari and repeated, "Pull over." Sari thought quickly and shot an energy orb on one of the sports car's tires which made the vehicle swerve off. "Nice shot," admired Sky.

The airship that was flying over the ground vehicles was being flown by a masked pilot and a tall and lean emotionless man. The man narrowed his eyes and stated in a Russian accent, "Those are not civilian drivers, tovarishch. There must be huntsmen guarding our prize." He grabbed one of radios in the airship's console and started to adjust the frequency.

Sky and Sari heard a male Russian voice on the radio say, "I do hope you take better care of the device than you do your captives." Sky looked up to see the airship flying overhead as he grabbed the truck's radio and demanded, "Identify yourself now!" The man responded, "I am Levichev. But of greater consequence to you, we are MECH." Grimwing, Lavender, Colby, and Tanner were also listening. "Fair warning," threatened Levichev. "We will be helping ourselves to your cargo, even if casualties are likely." Sky asked, "So how much money are you getting for it?" Slightly amused, Levichev asked, "Who said anything about money?" Grimwing gasped, "They don't want to sell it, they want to use Teletraan-1 for their uses!" Lavender asked, "Is that bad?" He nodded, "Yes! Imagine if Cybertronian weapons get into these terrorists' hands!" She realized, "Huntsmen and huntresses would be completely outmatched, even with the help of the Atlas Military..." Sari nodded, "We gotta keep the computer out of MECH's hands!" Levichev added, "There is a war brewing, between the new world order and the newest. The pobeditel' will be the side armed with the most innovative technology."

The sports car in front of Colby's race car drove up to the trailer as a masked man in the passenger side stood out of the roof window and shot three projectiles that attached themselves to the trailer door. The MECH soldier pressed a detonator on his weapon and the trailer door was forcibly opened. The MECH soldier climbed out and started to carefully walk toward the opened trailer. Lavender was already on her motorcycle as she did a wheelie and slammed onto the sports car. That made MECH car spin out of control and rolled toward the other MECH cars which made Colby swerve his car away from the carnage. Lavender drove up to his car as the visored young man asked, "Little warning next time you do that?" She smirked slightly at that. Grimwing went to the trailer door and pulled it closed.

Levichev gritted his teeth as he uttered a few curses. The pilot looked at the radar panel and said, "General, there's a bogey coming in." Levichev asked, "What?" That was when they saw a Grimm Lancer but it was yellow and black with blue green wings, yellow green eyes, and yellow green and purple markings fly past them. "What the hell was that?!" exclaimed Levichev.

Buzzsaw transformed into his robot form and landed on the trailer as Colby, Tanner, and Lavender saw him. "Sari, Grimwing," reported Tanner. "Our old pal Buzzsaw's back!" Buzzsaw ripped open a hole on the trailer and shouted, "That computer node is mine!" He was then blasted off of the trailer and onto the road. Grimwing jumped out of the trailer and landed on the road toward the Decepticon commander. Both the race car and motorcycle zoomed stopped near Grimwing as Buzzsaw got back up to face his enemy.

Unbeknownst to the two Cybertronians, the MECH airship stopped to see the two. "So the rumors are true," smiled Levichev scarily. "There is living technology living here. Though for not for very long." The pilot asked, "What about the device inside of the truck trailer?" The MECH general thought about it and replied, "The device is nearly at the airport. Besides, it seems we have a bigger prize. But first..." Levichev grabbed one of the radios.

Sky and Sari heard Levichev say on the truck's radio, "You and your team live a charmed life, molodaya ledi. Living among a tekhnologicheskiy titan." She asked, "How did you--?" He scoffed, "You did not think I would be listening to your team's svyaz' on your svitki? I expected more from a daughter of a genius, Ms. Sumdac." That struck a chord on Sari as Levichev added, "You win this one, but this will not be the last we meet. Anyway I am looking forward to seeing a living metallic being's parts serve MECH in the future."

Grimwing, Colby, Tanner, and Lavender joined together to fight against Buzzsaw. Finally the Decepticon transformed into his beast mode and flew away. The four looked up to see the MECH airship while from inside Levichev commented, "Well played, visitor. But MECH still has home advantage." He looked at the monitor which scanned Grimwing and added, "And we will tip the scales, even if we have to go inside and see what makes you tick." The MECH airship flew away. Frowning, Grimwing thought, It seems this planet has its own Decepticons. Seems we won't just be facing Buzzsaw anytime soon...
