Chapter 34- Old Comrades Part 2

Flashback To Cybertron, Maccadam's Old Oil House
Since the death of Greenlight, Leobreaker isolated himself from the Autobot/Decepticon War for a while after the exodus of the Dark Spark. Now the Autobots' main focus was to build the Ark. He looked at a holo-photo of himself and Greenlight when they were at Maccadam's with Rescuee, Overhaul, Viperina, and their super soldier and new recruit Nemesis Primal. Leobreaker took a sip of Energon from his cup as he then paused and turned to see his arch foe Galvatron. Galvatron was on Cybertron's most wanted list due to his team's rumored illegal activities against Iacon. Leobreaker noticed that Galvatron was sporting an orange-colored fusion cannon on his right forearm and with him his second-in-command Cyclonus and resident psychopath Shockblast. "You..." snarled Leobreaker. Galvatron smiled dastardly, "Ah ah ah. We can't fight here, remember?" Without breaking eye contact, Leobreaker asked, "What do you want?" Galvatron responded, "I simply wanted to give my amends to my greatest enemy. After all, it isn't fair that the one you love becomes the casualty of war." The former police captain stared daggers at the crime lord as Leobreaker asked, "What happened to your arm?" Galvatron slightly frowned at that as he and his henchmen left. Soon after, the owner of the Energon bar showed up.

"All the other Autobots are preparing to leave Cybertron on the Ark, Leobreaker," said Maccadam. "Why aren't you going?" asked Leobreaker. The jovial proprietor answered, "Someone has to keep an lens on things." Leobreaker shook his head and looked at his holo-photo once again as Maccadam said gently, "Leobreaker, I am truly sorry about what happened to Greenlight. But times are changing fast and the Ark won't wait any longer. Your team... your friends need you. Even Viperina won't even admit it to herself." Leobreaker put away the holo-photo and nodded, "Thanks, Maccadam." He finishes his drink and left the former oil house.

Emerald Forest, Present Day
Both protoforms woke up as Autobot Nemesis Primal and Decepticon Darkfang climbed out of their stasis pods.

Darkfang then immediately did a roundhouse kick that made Nemesis fall onto the ground. "My old enemy," smirked Darkfang as he pulled out one of his yellow daggers. "This is quite a treat. Coming to another world and seeing you as the first Autobot to kill." Nemesis got back up as Darkfang swung his dagger at him. The Autobot super soldier dodged and blocked the attacks with equal speed and strength. Darkfang nearly stabbed Nemesis's optic as he gripped onto the Decepticon's forearm and threw Darkfang onto the ground. Darkfang grunted and transformed into his black and yellow Manticore form and roared. Nemesis Primal transformed into his winged blue and red Beringel and pounded his chest. The two ran toward each other as Nemesis threw his fists on the ground causing the ground to rumble making Darkfang feel disorienting.

Rescuee, Viperina, and Grimwing felt the ground rumble as it then stopped. "What was that?" asked Grimwing. Viperina answered, "Looks like the big guy is duking it out with the Decepticon." Rescuee nodded, "We've got to hurry!" The three Autobots continued to hurry on their way to Nemesis Primal and Darkfang.

Meanwhile At The Bunker
The CR Chamber opened up as Leobreaker awoke. He walked out and went to the computer node. "Teletraan-1, where are the other Autobots?" asked Leobreaker. The computer node answered, "Rescuee, Viperina, and Grimwing are currently at the Emerald Forest on the trail for Nemesis Primal and an unknown Decepticon." He murmured, "Oh, no." Leobreaker went to the GroundBridge and set up the same coordinations his Autobots took. A portal opened as Leobreaker changed into his Nemean form and dashed into the portal.

Back At The Emerald Forest
Nemesis and Darkfang were now in their robot forms as the Decepticon super soldier had two daggers swinging and the Autobot super soldier dodged and blocked them. Nemesis knew that if he was stabbed by Darkfang's daggers, it would drain his own Energon while also injecting him with a potent form of Toxic Energon, or Tox-En. Nemesis then did a double-legged basket kick that connected to Darkfang's face. The Decepticon fell onto the ground with his back turned to Nemesis. "It's over," stated Nemesis. Suddenly a voice behind retorted, "No, it's just beginning, Autobot." Nemesis turned to see who it was but was too late to react when a bright purple beam zapped him in the chest. It was Buzzsaw with a Dark Spark powered V32.CYBR Corrupt@r. "I've watched your fight and dare I say, impressive." Nemesis Primal's optics and Energon veins turned purple as he kneeled down. Darkfang got up and recognized, "Commander Buzzsaw, and the Dark Spark... How ever did you manage to find it?" Buzzsaw responded, "That is a conversation when we head back to base." That was when Rescuee, Viperina, and Grimwing showed up in their robot forms. "Nemesis Primal?!" called Viperina. "What have you done to him?!" Buzzsaw smirked, "All in good time, Autobot. Nemesis Primal?" The mind controlled Autobot super soldier nodded and slammed his foot onto the ground which caused a quake strong enough to make a wall of hardened dirt with some rocks blocking the Autobots. Buzzsaw used his GroundBridge remote to open up a portal as Darkfang questioned, "We're retreating?" Buzzsaw looked at him sternly as the Decepticon super soldier reluctantly walked into the portal. Buzzsaw and Nemesis followed suit as Grimwing and Rescuee flew up while carrying Viperina over the wall. Unfortunately the GroundBridge portal closed as Viperina cried, "NO!" She fell down to her knees as Grimwing pointed out, "Wait, there's something they left behind!" He and Rescuee hurried and knelt down as they saw a piece of metal with a symbol on it.

Rescuee inspected, "Merlot Industries? Could this have something to do with this Dr. Merlot both Ironwood and Ozpin told us about?" Grimwing shrugged as Leobreaker came in still in his Nemean form. "Where's Nemesis Primal?" asked Leobreaker. "I heard quakes rumbling." Viperina replied, "The Decepticons took him... what will we do?" Leobreaker answered, "We will rescue Nemesis Primal."
