At The Island Leobreaker, Rescuee, and Viperina exited out of the portal and inspected the surroundings. The darkness and the frozen metallic Grimm not to mention the noises were making the Autobots feel uneasy. Viperina muttered, "I've seen some backwater alleys filled with scum on Kaon, but this is enough to make my metals crawl." She turned to Leobreaker and asked, "So what are we doing here?" He responded, "Remember when Megatron and the Decepticons had that dark artifact that was locked somewhere in Crystal City?" Rescuee nodded, "The Dark Spark." Leobreaker added, "When I saw the energy levels, I instantly recognized it was the same as that of the Dark Spark." Rescuee declared, "If it is as bad as you say, we must go before the Decepticons find it!" She transformed into her ambulance mode and drove off as Leobreaker and Viperina turned into their beast modes and followed suit. The gold-furred Grimm Nemean looked up as he saw an object with a bright purple trail come hurdling down fast several miles away from them. "The Dark Spark's coming fast!" yelled Leobreaker. "Pull up and-!" Suddenly the Dark Spark crashed and it sent out an energy wave that knocked the Autobots onto their sides and went into unconsciousness.
Somewhere At Mountain Glenn Buzzsaw, Strika, and Scorponok looked over at the computer node and saw the Dark Spark's entry into the island. "Komandir, what was that?" asked Strika. Buzzsaw answered, "The past come calling, Strika. Not only do we have the Grimm enhancement serum and the plasma energy, but another prize from the past. The Dark Spark." He turned away from the computer and ordered, "Wait here until I return." Buzzsaw pulled out his GroundBridge remote and opened up a portal. He went into it as it then closed.
At The Island The Decepticon's GroundBridge appeared as Buzzsaw came to the Island. He went to his GPS terminal on his right forearm and pressed a few keys. "Triangulating crash sight coordinates," analyzed Buzzsaw. Finally his terminal detected the Dark Spark's energy but he also noticed three Autobot life signals. Buzzsaw transformed into his Lancer form and then into his Lancer-theme jet form to race for the Dark Spark.
Leobreaker and Viperina started to wake up and saw Rescuee in her robot form. "What?" stirred Leobreaker. Rescuee interrupted, "Don't move or say anything else. I have to make sure there's no damage that'll affect your battle readiness." Her servo turned into a medical torch to weld some scars on Leobreaker's head. He got up as he transformed into his robot form. Leobreaker looked up and saw Buzzsaw flying over them. "Buzzsaw's racing us," said Leobreaker. "Look after Viperina and regroup with me when you can. I'm going after the Dark Spark." Rescuee nodded, "All right, but be careful. Contact us if things go out of hand." Viperina added, "Yeah... our band wouldn't be without its lead singer." Leobreaker nodded as he ran forward while changing into his Nemean form.
Buzzsaw flew down and shifted to his robot form as he peered down to the gaping ditch to see the Dark Spark in all its malevolent glory.

He saw the ditch was at the center of the metallic Grimm statues. "These creatures were in the range where the plasma energy leaked," remembered Buzzsaw. "Turning them into what they are now. Then this Dr. Merlot invents this enhancement serum under the delusion that the Grimm were the first to walk on this planet." He jumped down to the ditch and saw the Dark Spark levitate to his hands. Buzzsaw then heard Leobreaker yell over him, "Buzzsaw! Hand over the Dark Spark and surrender." The Decepticon looked up to see Leobreaker's Path Blaster pointed down at him. Buzzsaw took the Dark Spark and leaped up to the other side of the ditch. "And why would I do that, Leobreaker?" asked Buzzsaw. "I now have the means to end this war for the Decepticons. To destroy you Autobots and make Remnant a homeworld for the Decepticons." Leobreaker countered, "The Dark Spark is not something to take lightly. It will only create more needless chaos. Do the right thing, and use the plasma energy stores you have so we can revive Cybertron. Just simply hand over the Dark Spark to me and we'll work together. For Cybertron." Buzzsaw smirked, "If Optimus Prime were here, he would be glad you're taking his place here on this planet. Unfortunately for you, you're no Prime." He slammed the Dark Spark into chest as he felt his body shudder and his Energon veins turn purple briefly and back to its normal color. Before Leobreaker could retaliate, Buzzsaw shot him with his Thermo Rocker Cannon. Leobreaker fell on his back with a couple burnt holes on his chest. He struggled to stand as Buzzsaw suddenly formed a purple sphere and spoke, "In statue forms you've died, with the Dark Spark you're reborn. Attack the Autobots." He slammed the sphere into the ground as the metallic Grimm came to life with purple eyes and markings and roaring. Buzzsaw transformed into his beast mode and flew away. The metallic Grimm looked at Leobreaker and snarled as they surrounded him. Much to his relief, both Rescuee and Viperina went to his rescue and fired at the Grimm with Rescuee's Subsonic Repeater and Viperina's Neutron Assault Rifle. "GroundBridge..." grunted Leobreaker. "Back to base..." Rescuee nodded as she pulled out her GroundBridge remote and opened up a portal. The two fembots pulled their leader into the portal as it then closed.
At The Bunker Sari Sumdac watched as Grimwing and Alice Aquanetta in her much taller form continued to dance until the GroundBridge opened much to their surprise. Then Sari saw Rescuee and Viperina dragging a wounded Leobreaker. The two female Autobots turned to see both Grimwing and Alice confusingly before urging, "Help us set up the CR Chamber!" Both Grimwing and Alice separated as they went to help the Autobot captain.
