Eight Months Ago...
At a village there was a temple where many teenagers trained to be warriors. One of them being Lavender Lilac. Back then she was more easygoing and positive. Lavender was currently being trained by her Sensei and grandmother Iolanthe. She had light purple hair tied to bun and wore a blossom-colored robe. Iolanthe also carried an indigo-colored staff with a purple gemstone. "You are doing quite well, Lavender," smiled Iolanthe. "One day I know you'll do me proud one day." Lavender smiled, "Thank you, Sensei." The old woman reminded, "Only Sensei when students are around." The young woman giggled, "Right, grandma." Iolanthe walked over to her granddaughter and placed her hand on Lavender's shoulder. "So what is next for me, grandma?" asked Lavender. Iolanthe answered, "The next step for you is to be with a team at an Academy?" That made Lavender confused by this. "Why do I need to be with a team?" asked Lavender. "I can work well by myself." Iolanthe explained, "That's good, but if you're going to be part of a clan, you must learn how to function in a team. Can you do that?" The purple-haired young woman sighed, "Maybe... I don't know." Iolanthe chuckled a little bit as she then gave her granddaughter a gentle hug.Suddenly masked soldiers burst in firing their guns. Both Lavender and Iolanthe fought back and despite the old woman's age she was as fast and skillful as her granddaughter. It was then until both Lavender and Iolanthe had defeated the men and saw that Hunter Jetriksen, with both arms, had walked in without a lack of confidence. He admired, "Gotta say, out of every fight I've seen this was a beautiful dance of death." Iolanthe questioned, "You sent these men to die? Who do you think you are?" Hunter answered, "You can call me Hunter, and these guys thought they could take ya on, but I tried warn 'em before..." Lavender was completely disgusted with this man. Without thinking, she charged toward him and Hunter quickly pinned her to the floor. "Tsk tsk tsk," smirked Hunter. "Is that all you got? You're gonna put me to sleep." Iolanthe spun her staff and swung it on his face. Hunter started to stumble back as Lavender launched both of her legs to kick him. She then did a handspring and did a roundhouse kick on Hunter. Lavender threw several of her lilac flower shurikens at the mercenary who quickly pulled out two swords and sliced them to pieces. Hunter did a push kick on Lavender's face which made her slam onto the floor. Iolanthe turned her staff into a scythe and rushed toward Hunter. The two exchanged deadly blows from their respective weapons as Lavender tried to regain consciousness. Iolanthe managed to knock one of Hunter's swords out of his hand but was too late to react to his other sword impaling her stomach. "Nooo!" screamed Lavender as she watched her grandmother drop to the floor. Unable to control herself, Lavender tackled Hunter in super speed and grabbed her grandmother's staff. "You will pay for this, scum!" hissed Lavender angrily. Hunter chuckled, "How much? Your old lady was worth millions of sweet cash." She charged toward him and the two exchanged aggressive blows from their weapons. Lavender then lethally amputated Hunter's right forearm and kicked him to the ground as he clutched his upper arm. She walked over to him and raised her scythe as she declared, "You're finished." Hunter chuckled sadistically, "Not yet, girly." He suddenly threw a flash grenade at her face before she could react and did a sweep kick that knocked Lavender to the floor. The last she could remember was briefly seeing Hunter standing over her and knocking her out with his right boot.
Present Day, Beacon Academy
Sari Sumdac widened in shock as Lavender concluded, "I woke up seeing my people charred and dead. And my grandmother's staff gone from my hands. I wished I could have done more to save my family's home... my home." Sari apologized, "I'm so sorry to hear that. What do you think happened to your grandma's staff?" Lavender answered, "I can only imagine Hunter has it."Meanwhile
The mercenary known as Hunter Jetriksen looked at Lavender's picture again and pulled out Iolanthe's staff. He smirked, "I guess it's time we have our second date. It's been a long while since we've laid eyes on each other." General Levichev with his MECH soldiers comes in to see him and said, "Bring me the transforming robot to me in one piece. You can do whatever you like to his human friends." Hunter repeated with an unpleasant smile, "Whatever I like? After this job, I'm gonna need to plan a honeymoon." Levichev shook his head and ordered, "Do as you're told and you'll get paid." Hunter nodded, "Sure thing, Levichev."Vale, Much Later
Grimwing was flying overhead Vale until he landed in an alleyway. "A few cycles of toggling through the Teletraan-1 computer node's weapon locker and suddenly there's an Energon signal here," murmured Grimwing. He changed one of his arms into a Scatter Blaster and added, "Just in case if I run into Buzzsaw." Suddenly Grimwing felt an electric shock on his back and screamed as he fell onto his chassis and went into stasis. Hunter and two MECH agents went over to him as the mercenary smirked, "Creating a false Energon signal was pretty hard, but worth it when his little friends find out he's missing and come here." One of the MECH agents replied, "Our only interest is the Transformer, not the four young students he surrounds himself with." Hunter scoffed, "Whatever you say."
