Chapter 23- Savage Detour

Two Days Later, At The Bunker
Rescuee had finally had the GroundBridge completely functional and running as Professor Isaac Sumdac was in awe of this. "How did you manage to accomplish what I could not?" asked Isaac. Rescuee explained, "Well, you've been miscalibrating the Energon inducer. You're lucky you didn't create a black hole that would've swallowed this entire planet." Isaac nodded, "Yeah..." She reassured, "It's all right. Spacebridge technology isn't an easy thing to learn or crack. It takes an entire vorn to learn about it." Isaac asked, "What does vorn even mean?" Rescuee answered, "It would mean 83 of your planet's stellar cycles, or as your planet calls it years." Isaac repeated, "83 years? But how?" She explained, "Cybertronians have a lifespan of more than a million stellar cycles." He was astounded by this until the Teletraan-1 computer node alerted, "Two Autobot protoform stasis pods heading into Remnant's atmosphere. One will land in the Emerald Forest. The second will land in the deserts of Vacuo." Rescuee ordered, "Scan their energy signatures." The computer node did as ordered and replied, "Subjects Leobreaker and Viperina are inside stasis pods. Subject Leobreaker heading for Vacuo and Subject Viperina heading for Emerald Forest." Rescuee stated, "We better call in Team CLST and Grimwing and tell them the news. No doubt the Decepticons already know."

Somewhere At Mountain Glenn
Buzzsaw had already recovered from the last mission when he saw two protoform stasis pods on his Teletraan-1 computer node. Scorponok asked, "What's your deal, commander? We already outnumber the two Autobots." Buzzsaw responded, "And we must keep it that way, and in order to do that we must collect more protoforms." Scorponok shrugged, "Well, when you put it that way..." The Decepticon commander shook his head as he put one of the coordinates into the GroundBridge and opened the portal. Scorponok went into the portal going to the Emerald Forest as it then closed. "Strika!" called Buzzsaw. The female Decepticon walked over to him and asked, "Yes, komandir?" He replied, "You and I are going to go to the deserted part of this planet to retrieve another protoform to join our side." Strika nodded, "Of course, komandir." Buzzsaw opened a portal as both he and Strika went into and it disappeared into a flash of light.

At The Bunker
Rescuee and Isaac explained the situation with Grimwing and Team CLST. "So two of your teammates are coming here?" asked Sari Sumdac. Rescuee nodded, "Yes. We will have to split into groups to find the protoforms and retrieve them before they get into the Decepticons' clutches." Sari and Lavender Lilac volunteered to go with Grimwing to Vacuo as the three went into the portal leading to the kingdom and it disappeared into a flash of light. Rescuee smiles at Colby Charcoal and Tanner Auburn and said, "That leaves us to go at the Emerald Forest." Tanner sighed, "Right... back to initiation." Colby chuckled, "Look at the bright side, we've already proven our mettle. Bet the Grimm would think twice seein' us again." The GroundBridge opened up as the female Autobot medic and the two humans went into it.

At Vacuo
The protoform that held Leobreaker was in the middle of the desert as a pack of lion-like Grimm called Nemeans peered at the protoform stasis pod.

To their surprise a cylinder device with a sphere pointed up. The device lit up four holographic yellow curtains of light and they slowly circled around its surroundings. "Teletran-1 objective: scan local lifeforms for protoform," droned the pod's terminal. The curtains went through the Nemeans as the lights flickered off as the device went down into the pod. The pod opened up to reveal a gold colored Grimm Nemean with a brown mane, red eyes, yellow green markings on its grey mask, and grey bone spikes and claws with a grey tail. It looked up to see the other Nemeans run away from it as it spoke in a male voice, "Hmm, what was their problem? Those creatures outnumbered me yet they ran away." He looked at himself in a puddle and guessed, "Maybe they could easily tell I wasn't one of them." Then he sniffed the air and instantly recognized, "Two Decepticons heading this way. Better find a place they will least expect it." He closed the pod's hatch and ran off to find a place to hide.

Grimwing, Sari, and Lavender jumped out of the portal with weapons raised and ready. "No sign of any Decepticon," analyzed Sari. "Yet." Grimwing shifted into his beast mode and stated, "Let's not wait around long enough to see them with a new Decepticon into their ranks." His blue green tires form onto his forearms and calves and his jet propellers formed on his wings and positioned upside. The girls got on his back as he drove off very quickly. Unbeknownst to the Autobot and two girls, an airship flew above them.

Buzzsaw and Strika were in their beast modes as they went to the stasis pod. Strika had the Decepticon shell program ready. Buzzsaw transformed into his robot form as he opened the hatch and gasped, "What?! It's empty..." Strika said, "That is nevozmozhno. We were ahead of the Autobots. They couldn't have gone here before us." That was when a gold and grey with a brown mane Grimm Nemean pounced on the raspberry red Ursa as she dropped the shell program and fell on Buzzsaw. He leaped off of the Decepticons as he then transformed into his robot form.

Buzzsaw pushed Strika off of him as he recognized, "Leobreaker..." Leobreaker responded in kind, "Commander Buzzsaw. I knew I recognized your scent from a mile away. Where's your master?" Buzzsaw gritted, "Gone, as is your idol Optimus Prime. Allow us to help you reunite with him!" Leobreaker stood ready against the two Decepticons.
