Part 10

Joe's POV
I heard a knock at my door, whilst I was editing a main channel video,in my office. I immediately got up and headed towards the door. "Hi. Come in." I said to her. We both sat down on the sofa but we were sitting in silence and not even looking at each other. We had to start talking at some point, it was like we had forgotten to have a conversation together.
Dianne's POV
Joe and I were not talking to each other at all. It was very awkward.
"I'm sorry about the other night." We both said at the same time. We bursted out laughing as we realised we had said it together.
"I didn't know what came over me last night. I wanted to text you so we could resolve this before we started training. And not make our friendship complicated." I said to him. "I was thinking the same aswell. That's why I'm glad you texted me. The truth was, I was about to text you but you beat me to it. But I'm glad we are all ok now." He said. "Me too," I said smiling.
Joe's POV
I was so glad that Dianne and I had broken the ice. We started to chat again. "So what dance are you looking forward and not to doing?" She then asked me. "I'm really excited to learn the waltz but a bit nervous for the Charleston and Jive because they are so fast whereas the waltz is very slow." Dianne gave me an interesting look. "What does that look mean?" I asked her laughing. "Haha. Nothing. The waltz is way more technical then the jive and Charleston. But we'll see." She replied back. We talked for another hour or so. "Thanks for today Joe. I'll start heading home and I'll let you enjoy the rest of the day, before training tomorrow." "Of course. See you tomorrow." We both got up, and I got the door for her. I then hugged her goodbye.
Dianne's POV
After spending time with Joe, I spent the rest of the day choreographing our first dance. And later that evening I went to bed early, ready for tomorrow.
