Part 29

Dianne's POV
I left for rehearsals early and I left Joe a note, saying that I will meet him there. I hope today wasn't going to be as stressful as yesterday.
Joe's POV
I had found Dianne's note and I got a bit upset that she had went without me, but I hope today wouldn't get anymore awkward. I made it to the studio and I saw Dianne. She saw me and came to hug me. "You're here." She said smiling. I hugged her lightly back and said "Let's start" with a little smile.
Dianne's POV
We had began rehearsals and it still wasn't going as well. I'm guessing we were both still distracted from the night before. "Joe that's not the next step." "No, Di. I'm pretty sure it is." He said back, we then stopped. "I'm sorry, but who is the teacher here?" I argued after turning off the music. "Maybe we should take a break." I then said sitting down with my head in my hands. "Joe. I don't want to fight anymore," sighing. He then came and sat down next to me and put his arm around me which I accepted. I rested my head on his shoulder. "I don't either. I think we are both a bit stressed and we just wanted to calm down a bit." "I'm sorry about yesterday and getting stressed." I said as we both turned to face each other, smiling. "Me too. I think I'm ready to properly rehearse." We both hugged it out until I said, "By the way you were right. That was the right step." Joe laughed "I thought so. I think you were just trying to annoy me, weren't you." "No." Joe then gave me a look that was like, "really?" "Ok fine, Yh." There was a moment of silence until we both started bursting out laughing. "Oh Di. C'mon let's rehearse."
Joe got up and grabbed my hands to pull me up. I was so glad that we had patched things up.
Joe's POV
The rest of the day was so much easier as we both were not as stressed. Instead of going through the full routine over and over again, Di focused on the steps that I was struggling the most. This technique was better as I felt like I had improved with the steps more. We ended up finishing earlier than usual so that we could rest as we were going to try and go through the whole dance the next day.
