Part 20

Dianne's POV
I waited for ages but Joe never came back. I grabbed my bag and ordered an Uber back to my house. I put all my stuff down and just sat on the sofa. I still felt guilty about before;there were no messages from him but there was a call from my boyfriend, Anthony.
Phone Call
"I've been looking at the press reports lately. What's going on with you and Joe?😡"
"Nothing. What happened with the press?"
"It doesn't matter. We haven't hang out in ages and we are going our separate ways. I don't think this is working anymore."
"Anthony please."
"I'm sorry."
Dianne's POV
Anthony then ended the call on me. Today was literally the worst day. I then tried to call Amy but no answer from her. After I tried Joe just to see if he would pick up.
Joe's POV
I left rehearsals and went back home as I couldn't face the rest of the day to be awkward. However, I did feel bad for leaving Dianne like that.
Later on, I got a call. I ran to my phone and it was Dianne. I decided to answer as I felt bad for earlier.
Phone Call
"Hi Di. Sorry about leaving you. Are you ok?"
"Yeah, Joe. I'm fine. I didn't expect you to pick up."
"Yeah. I felt bad for leaving you."
"I'm sorry about before but um... can we meet?"
"Yeah sure. Shall I come and get you?"
"No it's ok. I'll get an uber. See you in a few minutes?"
"Yeah see you in a bit."
Dianne's POV
I was so shocked that Joe picked up but we seemed to be ok. I asked if I could come to meet him and he said yes. I called an uber and made my way to Joe's.
