Part 43

Joe's POV
"Next it's Joe Sugg and his partner Dianne Buswell" said Tess. "I hope I don't mess anything up." Said Di as we were walking down the stairs. "Don't worry. I'm excited to perform it with you and you have enjoyed training this week so I know you can do it." Di quickly smiled at me and let go of my hand so I could get into position. As the announcer was saying our names, I was signing my name on one of our props and wrote Craig with a love heart. I then heard the music and quickly did my pretend stretching.
Dianne's POV
As I saw Joe come out, I threw a ball at him and as soon as I had started my first dance move, I realised that something wasn't right. I was still smiling and making sure that no one knew that I was worried about something. I then felt my mic pack moving everywhere. We came up to the part where we used a bench and as I did a cartwheel on Joe's knees, the mic pack had fallen out. And I got scared as it came up to the part where we used gym balls.
Joe's POV
I could sense that something wasn't right as the big gym balls came up. During that part, I saw Dianne's mic pack falling out and I had made a tiny mistake as we weren't in time, but luckily we made it through the end of the dance. After our celebration, I ran over to Dianne and picked her up. She then untangled herself and as she did, she quickly said, "My mic pack came off. Thank goodness nothing happened." I smiled at her and we went towards the judges and got great scores.
Dianne's POV
Joe and I got great scores from the judges and we managed to get through the dance. We also got through to next week which I was so relieved about. "Even though your mic pack fell off Di, you managed to cover it up so well." Joe said to me. "At least I didn't ruin your chances of not getting through to next week." I replied back. "Never." He said pulling me into a hug.
