So in reading class we have to write one page worth of words summarizing a book we have read. I have only finished reading Wattpad stories so.. My teacher let me write about it. If You like NCT you might know Dating Hotline and Cupid Hotline by HalseyPlanet. Here is my summary of the two stories:

PART ONE

Taehee starts the story by meeting a bunch of boys who became her bestfriends, It is just a fight for the Boyfriend title. Johnny is the playboy that is constantly hitting Taehee with pickup lines. However Johnny does this because he is insecure of himself and constantly needs a reminder that he is still meaningful in this world. Johnny has a struggling relationship with his dad and uses Taehee as his source of hope. Taehee was so close to him, she stopped him from ending it all... Jaehyun is the meme lord and seemed to connect with Taehee instantly. Together they can create a funny situation out of anything by simply using informal dialog. Ten (Chittaphon) is Taehee's co-worker at a clothing store. They happened to ind each other on the app. This led them to be really close. However Ten used to date one of Taehee's enemies who happened to be very abusive to Ten. Ten decided to leave her and stay friends with Taehee. Ten also is an up and coming model. Doyoung is the pretty princess and is Taehee's Bi friend. He is constantly supporting Taehee with her relationships as Taehee helps with his relationships. Taeyong is the introverted friend that would rather keep to himself. He is very close to Taehee on the app and in real life. Mark is the little kid of the "gang." He is very social media influenced and tries to be relatable. Mark may be 20 but don't let the fool you. One of his famous quotes are "gang gang 😎🤙🔥👌." Haechan (Donghyuck) is the mean one of the group. Although he is mean, he can be funny sometimes. Haechan always has a comeback and will always be willing to make fun of you. Haechan eventually admits he likes Taehee and they begin dating. WinWin (Sicheng) is an up and coming K-pop idol. He is foreign so he does not speak well. An example would be "i LiKiNg POPTARTS AND GIANT LETTERS THAT EXPRESS HAPPINESS." Taehee is constantly guiding WinWin through the hardships of life. Taehee and WinWin actually lived next to each other. They even share their love for Frozen. This sprung the famous quote from him, "Some people are worth melting for..." [Possibly the cutest quotes I have ever heard, let me cry in peace] Ryuwoon is the last person Taehee meets in part one. Ryuwoon is the only girl Taehee met. Ryuwoon was a meme legend with Taehee. However after the story of her being raped was brought back up again and people from her school decided to make fun of her, she decided to commit Suicide. Her family was never on her side and the only option was to end it.

PART TWO

Kiko is a depressed teen who thought (to be explained later) she lost her parents when she was young. Her parents were in a gang, "The Black Wings." She had always been followed by the opposing, "The Cupids" Kiko was drunk one night and downlaod the "Lucky Charm Hotline" as a joke but it ended up becoming a benefit. She convinced three strangers to download the app and add her. Lucas, Kun, Jungwoo, and Yuta are all apart a gang.. But a good gang. They fight for justice. Lucas (Yukhei) is the leader of the gang and he tries to collect data. Lucas is trying to catch the "Cupid" who is following Kiko around. While out with Taehee, Kiko and the other gang members, Lucas was shot and had to go to the hospital but he would not let that stop him from helping Kiko. Kun is the quiet one of the group who does not even say one word in the story and prefers to text in emojis and communicates in hand motions. Kun is know very having really fast reflexes and moves really quick. Jungwoo is the innocent one and also the very soft. He is known for comforting people in the dangerous situations. Yuta was not always the good guy. From part one, Yuta was actually the one who raped Ryuwoon. He was the final reason why Ryuwoon ended it. Taehee was Yuta's Ex but after Taehee found out about the event with Ryuwoon, she wanted to cut him out of her life. After that moment, Yuta wanted to change. He began studying the good things. He wanted to help people. He is now helping Kiko with her situation. Taehee learned to forgive him now that he is becoming a better person and representing a better image of himself. In the middle of this mess, Kiko had to move in with Taehee because of a stalker in her house (who has since been caught thanks to Lucas and the gang). Because of Lucas and the gang, Kiko was able to find out her dad is very well still alive. Her mother is not yet confirmed alive or dead. For Now Lucas and the gang must help Kiko find the cupid....

THE END... or is it...?

After that we had to answer a question:

Describe the character/person who changed the most from the beginning of the book until the end of the book. Explain the change and what caused it.

Yuta. Yuta used to be the bad person and was a bad boy when it came to anything. We can tell from the time he raped Ryuwoon in the first story. After Ryuwoon's death he wanted to change for the better. He became apart of the good side with the help of Lucas, Jungwoo, and Kun. He has also learned to focus harder to become more intelligent especially when it comes to connecting the clues to help Kiko. Now even Taehee has learned to accept his change for the better.

I think I am going to get a good grade.

UPDATE: 9/10???? 9/10??????? I WANTED A 10/10!

oh well.

"When your story is ready for rewrite, cut it to the bone. Get rid of every ounce of excess fat. This is going to hurt; revising a story down to the bare essentials is always a little like murdering children, but it must be done." — Stephen King
