9-Breakfast and Battle
Rysen woke up the next morning with a raging migraine and the sunlight blinding him.
"Oooow, why do I do this to myself?" he groaned as he reached up for his phone on the end table and his hand hit a bottle that fell, clanging down onto the bed beside him. Opening his eyes slightly he saw that it was a bottle of Excedrin with a note taped to it.
For your inevitable headache. Drink the entire bottle and get some rest.
E.
Rysen looked up to the end table to find a bottle of water on the table where he'd knocked the bottle of pills off and found himself smiling. What a considerate person, he thought to himself. Taking some medicine and chugging the water he decided to shower before going to find his new roommate/fake girlfriend.
Getting out of the shower he walked into the room to find his father standing in his doorway. Ignoring him he walked into the closet and dressed before coming back out.
"What's up Ol' Man." Rysen said to his father as he closed the closet door.
"Just thought you should know that your sister is going to be here in a bit." Rysen froze as he looked back up at his father.
"I thought she wasn't going to be back for another week." His father shrugged nonchalantly as a smug smile touched his lips.
"You know your sister. She does what she wants, when she wants. Just thought I'd let you know. Also, your lady is making breakfast for everyone right now, so don't waste any time."
Rysen muttered a few choice words that would make a nun blush underneath his breath as he finished his morning routine. Regina Santigo was a complete monster. She also caused a ruckus wherever she went and had a freaky kind of insight to things that made Rysen worry for Elena and their cover. Sighing, Rysen made his way down the staircase and instantly felt his mouth water as the scent of pancakes flooded his senses.
"Sweet Lord, that smells heavenly." Rysen felt himself being pushed out of the way as Chase flew past him and into the kitchen.
"What the he-"
"I'm frigging starving. Excuse me." Harry pushed past him next, nearly running into the kitchen.
What the hell was that about? Rysen thought. It may smell good, but it was just pancakes.
"Good morning Elena." Rysen heard Chase and Harry speak simultaneously. A loud squeal nearly made Rysen chuckle as he poked his head around the corner of the kitchen archway, watching silently. She had turned, holding up her spatula in a threatening manner. However, with her size, it just made Rysen's men chuckle.
"D-don't do that." She said softly, as if uncomfortable with telling them what to do.
"Sorry, sorry Miss Elena." Chase chuckled before stepping up to her. She froze, her body turning stiff as she her eyes widened, and cheeks reddened. Due to their height difference she was merely at his chest as he reached over her to grab a slice of cooked bacon on the counter behind her. He stepped back and winked at her. Her blush deepened as she gripped the spatula tighter and Rysen could feel himself getting irritated.
Clearing his throat, he caught all three of their attentions.
"Where are my parents?" he asked.
