4. Surprise Attack

"Oh yeah she's..."

I heard a very faint voice from downstairs say. It sounded like my mom, talking to someone else. I didn't get to hear the rest of the conversation she was carrying but I guess it's whatever. I stretch around in my bed and finally open my eyes. I got up and didn't bother to change at the moment, so all I did was take a shower and put on the same thing I was wearing, my crop top and my shorts, since I suppose Benny hasn't arrived yet, or so I thought.

Looking at the clock it read 9:12 am. It's early, way too early for me to be awake. I brush my hair and when I was done, I headed downstairs. I hope my mom made breakfast for me, I'm starving. And that's when... I saw, him. Benny was at the table with my mother and Luna, eating bacon and pancakes. My eyes go wide and I tried to make a run for it up the stairs but my mom sees me and calls me back. Benny's eyes also went wide but then they soften. I feel like I started to blush, his eyes were first staring back at mine but then they looked up and down then back up. He smirks and I just hide my face.

"Hey Natalia, you look... Comfy." He says laughing. Luna laughs along with him while my mom just smiles.

"Why are you here, so early?" I remark and he smiles at me.

"Well I was going to come get you to go play ball at the sandlot but your wonderful mother here said that you were still asleep, so she asked me if I wanted to join her and your sister for breakfast. I couldn't say no to that, anyway it was very good." He said, now looking at my mom.

She smiles and says, "Thank you, you're welcome anytime. Any friends of mi preciosa Natalia are always welcome. If you want you are welcome to join for dinner too." Benny chuckles and I just blush even harder now from embarrassment.

"It's okay... Mom. Maybe he has to go home to his family for dinner." I said and Benny just shakes his head.

"No, it's fine. I'll ask my mom if I can join." He said with a smile on his face. Luna just stares at me and then she starts talking.

"So Nati, are you going to change or not?" Holy shit I forgot that I am hardly wearing any clothes. Around my family it's okay to wear this but since Benny is here, I am literally showing off a lot of skin. And I am also kinda not a person that will show her body much, I am very insecure but I will still wear things like this from time to time. I want to see what I can improve, what I can change.

"Uhm... Yeah I'mma be right back." I said nervously, walking backwards up the stairs. I then make a run for it and close my door. Fuck... I just got goosebumps...

After putting on the right attire, I went back downstairs. I signaled Benny by nodding my head toward the door and mouthing "Let's get the fuck out off here." Luna saw me and she smiles at me.

"Bye Natalia!" She starts yelling.

"Luna, you don't need to yell. We are literally in the same room." I put my hand on my hips and pout. She laughs and comes up to me. She gives me a hug and then she goes to my ears.

"He's good for you. You guys would make a very cute couple. He's also very cute." She whispers to me. I pushed her off me gently and look at Benny. I look back at Luna and she gives me the most innocent smile anyone can ever have.

"I just met the guy yesterday so stop assuming things." I whisper yell at her so he wouldn't hear.

"Whatever you're no fun. What I'm saying is, he might be interested in you. He's also way much better than Jacob by like... A lot." She says looking at her middle finger, she was wearing a ring she got for her 16th birthday last year.
