5. Reunited

Before I can do anything, I went in the bathroom and took a nice, refreshing, shower. It felt good, the water hitting my body. Finally rinsing the dirt off and not to mention I was a complete mess. After putting on shampoo and rinsing it off my tanned body, I wrapped a towel around me. I opened the door of the bathroom and went straight to my bed, where my clothes were lying down. It was a red shirt, light blue jeans and my black converse. I put it on and then went to the mirror. I don't really like how I look, the red shirt really shows how fat I am and how big my breast are too. I went to my closet and found a black hoodie, with Mickey Mouse printed on it. I put it over the shirt and went back to the mirror. Now you can't see that I'm overweight. I then went to the bathroom and did my hair. I put it in a ponytail and tied it with a red scrunchy. I then hear the door open, very loudly. I flinched a little and went to go see Luna.

"Shit Luna, you didn't have to do all that!" I said, my arms were crossed, covering my chest. She rolls her eyes and sits on my bed.

"Mom said dinner will be ready in about 10 minutes. She also asked if Benny was coming." She said looking at me.

"Yeah, oh he is also bringing his sister. Her names Katie so Luna you better not embarrass me." I said going back to the bathroom. She follows and is now standing behind me. She looks at the box I keep my scrunchies in and opens it.

"Do you really need this much scrunchies?" She asks, picking a white one out and putting it on her hair. It matches her white shirt that read, in black words, 'Cute but Psycho', dark navy blue jeans and white converse.

I shake my head and close the box, "do you really need to ask that question?"

"Whatever, I'mma go help mama, she will need a lot of help. Like a lot, trust me it looks like a buffet down there." We both burst out laughing and she leaves the room. The smile stays on my face for about a few more seconds. Remembering what my mom has told me the day we were moving, I just hope he doesn't find us this time. I don't want to be far away from my mom. She's a great mother and she takes care of us so very much. I don't even want to see him ever again in my life, the way he treated my mom was just horrifying. I still remember every little detail but I don't want to remember. Just thinking about it and having the image painted in my brain scares me. This man, is capable of anything.

I then hear a knock on the door, interrupting my thoughts which I am glad for because I felt like I was going to cry. I went running downstairs as fast as I can and shouted "I'll get it!"

When I open the door I see Benny and Katie. Not only did I see them but I also saw a woman. I am assuming that she is somewhat related to Benny. She has long black hair and beautiful brown eyes. She had a warm smile on her face. She was wearing a rather nice dress, blue.

"Hey Natalia" Said Benny with a smile, I obviously smile back.

"Hi Benny. Hey Katie." I say. Katie waves at me and Benny speaks.

"Natalia, this is my mom." He says looking at the women. "Mom, this is Natalia." She smiles and I put my hand out to greet her.

"Hello Mrs. Rodriguez." I say. She let's go of my hand but her smile remains.

"Hello, nice to me you Natalia. I've heard you and your family just moved in." She says. I nod my head before giving her an answer.

"Yeah we just decided that we had to move." I said and she nods.

I move out the way and let them in, "come in you're just in time."

They enter the house and I walk in next to Benny. But then the most unusual thing happened. My mom came out and then she was going to greet Benny and Katie when she saw Benny's mom, things got... Weird. Very very weird.
