Auntie Aera puts a palm on my forehead gently and smiles. "Wow. Your fever is completely gone. Did something happen while I was away?"

I couldn't help but smile. "I had good company."

She sits down on the sofa bed with me. "Seems like you ignored my advice and became friends with Junhui anyway," she says disappointingly.

My smile doesn't fade. I grab her hands and squeeze them tight. "Auntie, I know who my father is."

Her eyes widen in disbelief. "H-how did y-you-"

"It's Wen Junhui auntie!" I let go of her hands and throw myself into her arms. I hug her so tight even I was out of breath. "Isn't this great? I've finally found my family."

-

I couldn't be happier when Monday rolled around. It meant I got to see Junhui. My brother. I was so excited, I even left home early. I regretted it though, because by the time I got to school, the gates were still shut.

It took me by surprise when he showed up in his car minutes later. "You're here early," he says as he pulls up beside me with his window down.

Joshua Hong was in the passenger seat. He gives me a small wave and asks, "wanna come for a drive?"

I nod and hop in the back and buckled myself into the middle seat.

"Are you feeling better?" Joshua asks without turning around.

"Yeah. Much better."

"That's good."

We ended up going through the drive through of Starbucks. The boys ordered their 'usuals' while Junhui ordered me a pink drink. It tastes exactly how it sounds.

After, Junhui drove us back to school. The gates were open and a few students were walking in. We were still a little early.

"By the way, you missed it but our teacher announced on Friday that our homeroom is going to do your idea and do a school talent show." Junhui says as he takes his seatbelt off and turned on his seat so he could see me.

"Really?" I asked surprised. I knew it was a good idea but I didn't think it would actually get picked.

Junhui nods.

Is it just me or is being in Seoul getting better and better for me? I guess this is where I'm meant to be.

-

After school, Junhui invites me over to his apartment. It makes me happy knowing he wants to be around his long lost sister just as much as I want to be around him.

"Do you want anything to drink?" He asks as we enter the overly too big room of his.

I shake my head no and go straight towards the glass wall and looked out at the city.

He comes over and joins me.

"So how did you know about me?" I asked straightforwardly. "About me being your sister, that is."

He doesn't take his gaze away from the view. "I did some digging about my father's past recently. I didn't like what I found out at first but now that you're here," he looks at me, "it makes me happy."

I couldn't help but smile at his words. I was touched.

"A sister is something I didn't think I wanted until now."

-

Junhui

She was buying everything I was saying. What an idiot.

I need to earn her trust in order to destroy her in the end.

What's so good about her anyway? Why does father want to keep her identity a secret? Why does he want to protect such a useless being? He couldn't care less that I walk around Seoul with the Moon symbol sewn into my jacket but he wants a girl he's never seen until now, out of harms way?

"It makes me happy knowing you feel this way," I say. "Because I do too. We may not be full sibling but we're still blood."

Junhui nods. "Blood."

"Blood is not always loyal."

Junhui and I turn around to see a woman in a suit walking into the room. The roots of her hair were greying but it was styled back into a sleek ponytail making her look younger than she probably was.

"Grandma," Junhui immediately makes his way to her and greets her with a kiss on the cheek.

"How are you darling?" She pats him on the arm.

"I'm doing well."

She smiles at him and nods. She then turns to me and asks, "and you must be... Choi Sun's daughter?"

I bow, "it's nice to meet you grandmother."

She looks at me distastefully.

I could already feel that she doesn't like me. But why?

"Dear, I wouldn't get too comfortable around here if I were you. Your mother made a mistake of doing so." Her sudden attack at my mother were making me feel upset.

"W-what do you m-mean by th-that? You l-liked my mother..." I could hardly say my words without choking on them.

"Liked. Past tense." Her words were sharp and snarky. "Leave here before I have to kick you out myself."

"Grandma she's-" Junhui tried to protest but the woman had clearly made up her mind.

"Make her leave junior."

I've heard everything I needed to hear. I ran out of the building as fast as I could, with my eyes spilling out their tears. Just when I thought I felt welcomed into the life with a family I craved for, the feeling was snatched away in a flash by the blood of the one that gave life to a father I may never call my father.
