"Okay, tell me again why there's a gutted rat on your bed." Zoey's sarcastic tone said.
"Bad prank. But that's not important right now." I replied, "I need you guys to take me to th—ew Jacob don't poke the rat!"
Jacob stopped just before poking the dead animal. Zoey chuckled and then redirected her attention back to me.
"Anyway, I need to get to the pound." I said.
"No problem, me and Jacob'll take you." Zoey said, "We're going to a gay bar/drag queen show anyway."
"I'm introducing Zoe to the art of men beautifully disguised as women and giving performances that snatch wigs!" Jacob said enthusiastically.
"I'm stoked." Zoe said sarcastically and then we all laughed.

"Thanks for giving me a ride." I said and then waved as they drove off.
I walked up to the front gate of the pound. The gate had a lock and chain on it and a sign hung on the gate saying: "Sorry, we're closed. Business hours are from 9am to 9pm. Towing trucks run around the clock."
Well, guess it's time to trespass.
Hoping the gate was easy. It was a large black gate with vertical metal bars that were closely spaced so no one could squeeze themselves through. All I had to do was press my feet up against the sides of the bars and force my weight up.
If you haven't noticed from me climbing extremely large trees in the middle of the woods, I'm an excellent climber.
The pound didn't have many cameras. That was the good thing. But the bad thing was that I didn't know where the few cameras were. So this was gonna be a hard task.
Not impossible, but hard.
I swung my body across the gate and landed on my feet in a squatting position. It was dark so I could barely see anything, meaning that I wouldn't be able to see the cameras. Turning this into "Mission Damn Near Impossible".
I walked through the rows of cars blindly. I had to get to the back of the pound where they keep the totaled cars. I ducked down just in case there were cameras in this area. I kept walking until I got to another gate, this one being a wired fence, that bordered around hundreds of badly damaged cars. And in the middle of the other cars was Angelo's car.
Bingo.
I climbed up the gate and jumped over it, landing on my feet with ease. I hurried up and snuck over to Angelo's charred car and started to examine it. I opened the driver's side door and looked around. I didn't know how to check and see if gasoline or some other flammable substance was poured on his side. I pulled a piece of the leather from the seat and put it in my pocket. I needed to compare it to the leather on my seat so I reached over and pulled a piece of leather from my seat too.
Next I needed to see if my door had been tampered with. I went over to the passenger's side door and pulled at it. Since the car had just blew up it was fragile so once I pulled it, the opposite side of the door that wouldn't normally open broke apart and the door hung by the part of the door that was wedged. Since the door was detached I pulled the door forward to the direction of the front of the car instead of trying to swing it open and the whole door slid out of the frame of the car and fell to the ground. I lifted the door off of the ground and rested it against the car as I examined it. I checked the lock on the door and everything seemed normal.
That didn't make since because Angelo's door was perfectly fine. Why was there something wrong with my door?
I turned to check the frame of the door and I saw a small thin black metal piece sticking out of it. It was a hair pin that had been stuck in the doorway. It couldn't have been in there before Angelo got there because I had opened the door with ease. It must have been triggered when I closed the door after getting in.
Meaning the person who's been threatening me
Was there outside of the studio when we found Camellia.
