Back home,

"We did it! We beat the witches!" I cried running around the house.

"We did it together," he said.

"You and I" I completed.

That night, we watched the sunset on the top of the hill.

The next morning,

We traveled back inside the tunnel to get Malena and Curtsy's bodies.

Ccrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....

What was that?

Before we knew it-

"AAaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!"

"Wait!" cried a voice, it was so familiar

I opened my eyes. I couldn't believe it!

"Adophine?!" I asked, stunned

"Horix?" she asked

"Oh, it's you!" I cried hugging her

"What brought you here?" she asked

"We're here to take Malena and Curtsy's bodies back" I replied

"You know about it?" she whispered

"It's fine, no need to whisper, they're dead," I said

"Wait. What?! The witches are dead?!" she cried

"Yes, and so are Malena and Curtsy" I repeated

"I know that Malena and Curtsy are dead but the witches? How?"

"We killed them" I replied

"You, WHAT?!" she cried stunned.

"Yes, now we need to take Malena and Curtsy's bodies back home. We will tell you everything later" I said

Adophine's face turned pale.

" How did you do it? It's impossible to kill them, according to legend" shouted Adophine.

Hector and I shared a glance.

"We did it together" I replied back smiling.

"And who is that?" asked Adophine pointing to Hector.

"That's Hector, he's my friend, he helped me when I was lost" I replied. "Hector that's my sister, Adophine"

"Nice to meet you," he said shaking Adophine's hand.

"What brought you here?" I asked.

"Remember when I told you I would help you? Well, I've been searching and searching too until I found this place with Malena and Curtsy's bodies" she explained

"By the way, Berna, and dad...they're..." my voice trailed off

"I know...dead," she said

"Let's take the bodies and go back home shall we?"

"You have a home?"

"We found a lost town and we made it our home"

We talked and talked, explaining everything. I told her how the witches put a spell on Malena and Curtsy and how our grandma was the third witch.

Adophine said that she stayed with the wolves and that every night they would go and hunt for food. And when the full moon rose, they would go to the top of a hill and howl.

When we arrived at the lost town, we found a nice peaceful place to bury Malena and Curtsy's bodies. And it was right next to where I buried Berna.

After all those long talks, it was finally time to make a campfire.

We went hunting with the wolves, an experience to keep forever and we brought enough food to roast.

It was a nice reunion although; Hector and Adophine did not socialize much.

"You should have seen their faces at the end!" I said, laughing.

"Wait. I smell human" said Adophine, smelling the air.

"Hide!" she cried to the wolves.

"Who is it?" I asked, but Adophine disappeared.

"Whoever it is, come out!" shouted Hector

I felt like we were shouting at the dark trees surrounding us. But we were being watched.

Fllshhhhhhhhh...

The sound of someone stepping on dry leaves came into our ears.

Crack!

"Come out now!" said Hector preparing to shoot with his trigger.

Silently, the person came out behind the tree. It was a man.

"Who are you" I questioned

"I. I didn't mean to watch you, I was just wondering in the woods and I saw the fire" he mumbled

"What were you doing in the woods?" asked Hector

"I was hunting for food to bring for my family" he replied

"Is there, another town?" I asked

"Yes of course! But you guys don't look familiar, you probably don't come from our town" he replied

"Where is this town," we asked...
