As we walked in the deep forest, the sun shone under our legs, giving light to the dim forest. This was the best part of the day. And also the best part of the forest. The trees left a little space between them so that the early sunlight could come in. Walking silently, only hearing our own footsteps and the sound of dry leaves being crushed under our feet. It felt like a million stars shined their way to us and to guide us right through the doors of our destiny.
"This is unbelievable!" I cried running through the woods and getting hit by the glimmering sun on my face.
"I think it's probably the first time we've seen such a beauty," said Berna.
As we walked further, the light disappeared. We were back in the dark forest. In a glimpse, there was nothing but darkness around us again. Maybe it was just our imaginations. The forest seemed oddly quiet.
"Do you hear anything?" asked Dad
"No, do you?" replied Berna
"Me neith-
Suddenly a noise appeared behind a tree.
"What- what, was t-that," I asked, slowly walking some a few away from the tree.
"Horix- r- RUN!!!" shouted Berna pushing me forward.

I didn't know what was behind that tree but it was disturbing. I took my chance and ran forward but Berna and Dad took the other way. I could hear its paws chasing after me. I stopped at a warning. The animal wasn't too far behind me. I read the warning. I tripped- and BOOM!! I couldn't turn around as what I heard frightened me, but as I lifted my head, I saw the warning again, it was carved on wood. It was written:
SOS!

After that moment, I blacked out, unconscious, as Berna and Dad were behind me, and watching me in tears.
