Your heart sank at sight of him. He'd been cast away by Odin, his adoptive father, for a while ago. Frigga used to visit him using her magic spells, giving him advices on how to behave next time around. Still, he seemed not to understand.
Hesitating wasn't one of your fortes. You needed him to comprehend what was going on, so you gathered courage and decided to face him.
"You're running out time, my love," you said, causing Loki to stop playing with his spells. He turned his gaze back to you, a small smirk tugged at his lips. "Loki, this was never the way I wanted you to end. Please, understand."
And that smirk was suddenly gone.
"And what, let Thor become the king of Asgard?" he inquired with an awful glare.
"All I ask, is you to look around you. Look at all the damage you have caused!" He pursed his lips and looked away, unable to mask so much embarassment. "Loki, I know that there's still good in you, just–" you trailed off and swallowed the words you were going to blurt out, knowing they could hurt him. "Just come back home," you pleaded, a tear streaming slowly down your face.
With no response coming from him, you sucked a deep breath in and finally aknowledged he was not going to change his mind. Once gathered up, you walked away without bothering saying your farewell.
Little did you know Loki was never planning on letting you, and your family go.
