Steve was at a complete loss of words. He turned around to face him, a look of complete astonishment on his face. Quickly, noticing what the supersoldier had just found out, your boyfriend stood on his feet, face pale in horror.
"What is this?" Steve asked your boyfriend, showing him the note one of the interns of S.H.I.E.L.D. had left him on his desk.
A glint of hope still shone in that bastard's eyes. He was hoping Steve wouldn't tell you what he was doing when you were away. He wanted to preserve his optimistic nature, and you considered lying to Steve, but dismissed the thought completely in a matter of seconds. Steve may be oblivious, but he was not stupid at all.
He took a sharp intake of breath, voice trembling at the sight of Steve approaching him. "Cat bit your tongue?" asked the first Avenger somewhat sassily as he leaned against a pilar of the parking lot, earning some gibberish from your infidel lover. Folding his arms, Steve decided to spoke up, "Alright, here's the deal. If I ever see you with Y/N again, you better run. You better run, 'cause I'll be there, and the hell I'm angry," Steve threatened, making your now ex boyfriend scuttle away.
