IMAGINE GAMORA TEACHING YOU HOW TO FIGHT AND HER ACCIDENTALLY HURTING YOU.

"I am Groot," the small tree-alien said to Rocket, who was trying to fix one of their telecommunicators.

"For the the last time, piece of wood and leaves, I told you to shut up," Rocket scolded.

Looking at Gamora, who was sitting alone on her seat across the room, Groot pouted. "I am Groot."

Sighing, Rocket, tried his best not to lose his temper. No one on the ship tried to talk to Gamora. She had been staring through the window for hours since the incident. Her eyes showed no happiness at all, only sorrow and self dissapointment. In her hands she had the little dagger her adoptive father gave her.

"I am Groot?" he tried again, earning a loud groan from his friend.

Rocket left the telecommunicator aside with all his tools, and glanced at Groot. "You know, becoming your friend was the worst decision I have ever made," he ranted and went on; "Besides, what am I supposed to do? Comfort her? Do I look like I want to comfort someone?"

Groot frowned in confusion, only making Rocket facepalm.

"Alright, I guess that's the cue, is it?" he said and staggered over to where Gamora was sitting.

"What do you want, Rocket?" Gamora asked coldly, still playing with her dagger.

"Hey, just for the record, I'm the only one who has the decency to approach you to say 'hi'," he began, a smile in his voice as he laid his back against the wall. She chuckled in response.

"I could have killed her, Rocket," she said once her laughter had died down. "I was supposed to protect her from danger, not get her stitched up. I shouldn't have said 'yes' in first place."

He folded his arms, and tilted his head to the left. "It's just a scratch," he said, trying to reassure her.

"A scratch? Rocket how can be that wound be a scratch?!" she yelled at him, and then abruptly burying her head in her hands.

Her brain was a mess, this hadn't happened before to her. She didn't want to seem weak, yet that was all she could show at the moment.

Suddenly, Gamora felt a clap on her shoulder. She rised her gaze just to find Rocket giving her a tender look.

"She'll be alright."
