You lifted the chains around your wrists and gave them a shake. You idly looked at them and then peered at your cell companions. "Yeah...I don't think we're going anywhere."
You knew he was trouble the moment you agreed to help him and his colleagues. Peter Quill was not only known for fighting potential villains but for wandering around the galaxy with his Walkman. Someone like him would obviously get you in trouble – specially with Xandar's people. What were you thinking about?
A non-stop melody filled the area, making you lose your temper. You looked sideways and saw the other Guardians as annoyed as you.
"Damn it, Quill, change the song for once," you heard Rocket say, voice low as if he had lost all of his hopes.
Peter's eyebrows furrowed at his petition. "No, man. It's Hooked on a Feeling, Blue Swede, 1973."
Rocket huffed in response, while the song kept on playing.
You looked up at him and tilted your head. "Hey, captain," you teased, getting Peter's attention. "Change the song to Come A Little Bit Closer by Jay & The Americans."
Peter's eyebrows furrowed at your petition. "Why would I do such a thing? It's my Walkman, my tape, my decisions. Understood?"
"Alright, Quill," you began, dusting off your hands; "Then...find out a way outta of here before they kill us, otherwise I am gonna do it."
