Shrek x Donkey- A layer away from my heart.

Chapter 8- Liar.

"Hey, you have a visitor." Gingo said to Shrek. 

Shrek had been crying for hours, about everything, his kids, his loneliness but most importantly, Donkey. Shrek could not stand living without Donkey. The noble steed set his heart on fire, his warm breath smelt like onions against his hair neck. Shrek missed him deeply and without Donkey he couldn't get through anything really. 

"Who is the visitor?' Shrek asked. he figured it was probably his dumb ex-wife coming to complain about the kids. 

"He says his name is Donkey." 

Shrek squealed as loud as a hippie with a new tie-dye shirt.  Shrek could feel his heart beat faster and louder with each second that passed. Shrek remembered the nobel steed's hairy back and how his hairs would rise up, or how his cheeks turned bright red when Shrek was around. 

"Send. Him. In. NOWWWWW" Yelled Shrek for he couldn't bear another second without Donkey. He suddenly heard the door swing open. "I'M MAKIN' WAFFLESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS" Screamed Donkey. They ran into each other's arms so fast that it was faster than the speed of light! The power of love was so strong Gingo had to leave because it was so awkward for him. The two guys were crying with so much happiness they couldn't even breathe. 

"D-Dokeh, is it really you?! Why have you come? You know why I'm here right?" asked Shrek.

"Hush, that doesn't matter now. What matters is that I'm your lawyer and I'm here to bust you out!"

"You think I'm innocent?" asked Shrek with a smile on his face.

"Of course I do baby!!" Donkey gasped as soon as the work baby came out of his mouth. His cheeks were so hot it was like the sun. He looked at Shrek who was teary eyed with a grin on his face. "Donkeh, I've got something to tell you." 

"Yes, Shrek?" asked Donkey with some innocence. It was the moment he was waiting for ever since 2001 when he met Shrek. 

"I-i love you, I always have." Shrek confessed. "But you're never going to get me out of prison." Shrek continued. Donkey was so happy he didn't care about the last sentence. 

"Kiss me." Donkey demanded. Shrek was walking towards him with swagger put into each step, he kneeled down, and put his hand on the back of Donkey's head, leaning in.  The two lips touched, soft and moist against each other. The passion in the kiss was so strong there was an explosion set off in the shape of a heart. 

"Y-you'll never get me out." Shrek said sighing as he released from the kiss. "Fine" said Donkey. 

He left in rage. 

Shrek never felt so betrayed in his life!

2 hours later

After crying for 2 hours Shrek heard a knock on the door. "You have been released Shrek."

"What? How" Shrek said as he perked his head up. 

"Mr. Donkey confessed." 

The world was silent.
